I'll post comparison shots of FLOSRs versus Kaiyodos (legit and KO) later this week.

Marmit: The Fierce Legend of Super Robots CollectionCourtesy of Dr. Wang Below is Dr. Wang's clinic. The arrow points to the display shelves that I photographed for this thread. Thanks for the pics Roboto...what an amazing doctors clinic. I'm sure he has no late arrivals for appointments "cause everyone wants to get there early to ckeck out the toys... ;D That's a whole ARMY of Mazingers...the mirrored back on the cabinet makes it look even more awesome.

Nice waiting room, roboto!! I'd suddenly develop a case of hypochodria if that was my doctor!! But you all do know why he has them displayed there in his office, don't you?
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
His wife won't let him display his "toys" at home!!!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!
Poor Dr. Wang - I feel your pain!!

As far as I know, Marmit only made a 25cm tall Grozier X and not a FLOSR 40cm one.

Hey, roboto, nice score!!!
Poseidon's the most expensive FLOSR I've acquired, maybe someday I'll find a 'bargain' Dragun to finish my set. But Poseidon's cool on his own...He has that 'shelf presence' that makes this line so appealling.... They look good just about anywhere and they're damn durable too.

Nice find! The Poseidon is definitely one of the more solid FLOSRs. Much better than, for example, the Getter Liger and its weak ankles. The Getter Dragon, though is may favorite. The sculpt is absolutely beautiful, the colors pop, and its very solid. No wobbling!

Line-up to compare sizes of the various modern Super Robot vinyls. Note both the size and sculpt differences between the Kaiyodo and the Marmit FLOSR.

You mentioned someone you know is selling a Marmit Bossborot. Can you let me now who? I'm looking for one for a friends birthday.
Thanks.

Try ebay right now for $150. I personally think that figure is the weakest of the line.

My Boss Borot is definitely the weakest of the bunch. No matter how I manipulate the legs on mine, it just won't stand up straight. I have to prop up the toes with material (like you a would a wobbly restaurant table) just to keep the guy from taking a nose dive.

Does anyone own a Marmit Poseidon Babel 2 they are willing to sell? I have a few willing to sell me theirs but at a price too high. I am willing to pay $225 or trade for another rare marmit. This one is tough to find and is the last to complete my collection. Thanks in advance for the help

Thanks in advance for the help There was a recent photo spread over at CollectionDX featuring Kimono My House, and I spotted the Poseidon Babel 2 in one of the photos. I would give them a call to ask about their pricing, though I assume it would be quite high.

Roboto, I may be mistaken, but the only difference in the Grendizers are that on one, the Grendizer has silver on his knuckles and on the other he does not. I do not think there is a difference on the color of the horns.

After going back and forth over the last couple of years of whether or not to start collecting these, I finally broke down and picked up my first FLOSR's Sorry for the crappy picture. I don't have any room to display them yet. Picked these up at Kimono My House, and yes, the Poseidon Babel is still there. Now, if I could just find a Getter Dragon & Danguard Ace I'll be set. Haha.

guys.. i got the danguard ace just recently from ebay... is he really stooping down, i mean really... its like he is leaning forward. i got it loose, so no box, but it has the marmit logo on one of the bottom of the foot with a japanese text.

Just about every single one of my FLOSRs tends to lean forward precariously, sometimes doing a face plant in the middle of the night. For the ones with rounded legs, you can pretty much play around by twisting the thighs inward and the feet outward to achieve the proper posture/balance.
However, on the Boss Borot and Danguard, I had to place wedges of folded paper under the toes....like you would with a wobbly restaurant table. Oh well.

Let us know how that works for you....You just have to manipulate the lower body to regain the figure's center of gravity. I originally had paper wedges under everyone's feet...broke my heart with Getter Dragon, as the sculpt and color are beautiful. But after twisting here, adjusting there, he now stands tall and proud.
Actually, I don't think it's necessarily all due to the vinyl deforming and sagging. When the FLOSRs are properly posed, they have that classic S-shaped profile...ya know, that very subtle back arch and pelvic thrust haha. But inside the packaging, they are twisty-tied to the cardboard box ramrod straight, so they come out of the factory with their legs twisted out, and feet in. You just have to reverse it.
Anyway, give it a shot!
