I'm finally home from business long enough to snap some photos of my problematic 24 inch Mazinger. First up, the Leaning Tower of Maz. He fell over 2 seconds after I snapped this photo: I've played with every possible configuration of the ankles, knees and thighs, and the only way for him to stand unassisted is to put him into Pelvic Thrust mode:

Yeah, mine does that too. That's why I have it tied down to the wall with fishing line! The vinyl where the "ankles" meet the feet is to thin to support all the weight of the figure. This Mazinger already has a huge chest that sticks out too far, and ends up placing more weight on the ankle/feet connection...

I've emailed High Dream at the email that hlpro suggested. Hopefully will get an answer during the work week.
It's a shame since it's actually quite beautiful. But it's utterly undisplayable so mine's gone back into the box and is, therefore, quite useless at this point.

Will your photos show us how to fix our leaning Mazingers? here are 2 pictures of the very same 24Inch figure, one is similar to yours only if I turn the legs top and bottom parts the wrong way, the other picture is how it should be...and very stable, all MazingerZ in this line are from the same mold and assembled the same way .

Hi hlpro. Thanks for the reply and photos. I have tried every possible combination, turning the top and bottom parts every single way. Over the last few months, I must have spent at least 90 minutes playing around with the legs, trying every position. The issue with mine, as well as themazingerz's, is that our figures ORIGINALLY stood perfectly straight. They started 100% fine, but over time began to lean forward ON THEIR OWN. Everytime I came back from a business trip, the Mazinger was leaning forward more and more. Now, as you can see, he cannot stand straight. If you kindly look at the before and after shots by themazingerz, you can see the same situation with his. The Mazinger started perfectly straight, but ended up leaning so much he had to hold it up with string. I have many vinyl figures, including all the Marmit FLOSRS, and I can intentionally make them lean forward as you have done for your photos. Unforunately for us, turning the legs the wrong way is not the problem. So, therefore, turning the legs the right way is not the solution.

Thanks, hlpro. I appreciate it. However, I get the feeling that you don't quite believe us haha! I wish it was just a dumb mistake on my part so that there's no inconvenience for anyone. I also run my own business and have to keep time and cost expenditures in close containment. But trust me, my product leeeeaannnns. This time I will take a photo of the new Mazinger when he's first out of the box, and straight. I will then not touch the Mazinger, and leave it completely alone, but take photos every 2 weeks to see if anything happens. I am assuming everything will be ok, but I at least want to contribute better documentation for you. Thanks again.

You get my feeling right you see there are thousands of pcs in the market now, its hard for sure when only 2 persons on this particular board is having this problem, now if we receive mails from fans all over the world, it is a different story. but well I guess it is bad luck then. Technically, It is possible that a piece in soft vinyl can have a thinner layer of plastic somewhere, its hardly noticeable and it could be wherever on the body and at a different place on each single pc made in the same line, but if it happen to the ankle, why not, it would be very rare though.

Manufacturing defects may be rare, but they do occur, unfortunately. And just because people don't write emails does not necessarily mean that everything is fine. For example, if I didn't know High Dream had a representative on these forums, I wouldn't have written an email either. After all, it's just a toy. I'd just put it back in the box and sell it on eBay or forget about it in my closet. But I appreciated the direct access to your company, so I used this welcome opportunity to present my issue. As did themazingerz. As did calibre. Even if 1 toy out of 1,000,000 is defective, that toy is still defective. Look, don't get me wrong here....I absolutely, totally LOVE your 24 inch Grendizer. I can't wait to see what's next in the 24 inch line. I'm so happy SOMEONE is making large, affordable, accessible, anime-accurate Super Robot collectibles. And I will always support any small, entrepreneurial company that takes the time, effort and money to turn our childhood robot heroes into modern masterpieces. I don't know themazingerz or calibre, but I am sure they're nice gentleman with no intention of cheating you. And I am sure you're a hard-working entrepreneur who's not trying to cheat us. We're just geeks who love our robots, and want the best. ;D But the incovenient truth here is that nothing is perfect, and there are at least 3 High Dream 24 inch Mazingers out there in the world that started straight, but ended up crooked over time. Maybe there are more. Or maybe, somehow, only Robot Japan members have this bad luck... Thank you again for offering to replace.
