Odd. I see how the blue plastic is extra dark. I bet that is a sign of aging, sunlight, or heat.
Anyone ever see the darkening on a T-28?

I think the darkening is a photograph thing...
Mine is consistently coloured across all parts, but when photographed, it often does show up in this way, and the shoulders & fists etc look like a darker tone.
Maybe it's something to do with the reflective properties of the plastic compared to the metal?

Isn't it missing the forearm decals?

Well, there's an interesting point...
Mine's an SG, and if I look at him, his shoulders are definitely darker, although still blue for sure. It's the same plastic and colour as the feet, missile cover, and forearms.
Thereis a band between the shoulders and the torso which is definitely black plastic.
I still think it's a photograph thing, but the plastic parts are a shade darker than the painted metal...

The SG01 Popy and Godaikin releases I've recently seen are about the same color. I vote for aging or, like you guys said, a photo property.

I quote for greattoys... we recently talked about this in Italy and many of us think that there is too much difference between the 2 blues for being a photograph effect or an aging sign

Well I compared this pic of my collection: then looked at it in person. The plastic on mine is only slightly darker than the metal parts and consistant for all the plastic. The metal parts in this pic are MUCH brighter looking in the pic than in real life so it must be due to the paint reflecting differently than the plastic

The picture there looks much like mine as well. Have you seen it in person? Mine is definately a trick of the light as the colors are not NEARLY as drastic as my own picture indicates. I doubt many of the pictures seen (That are done by rank amatures such as myself) are much different from my own and the color in the blue is probably much closer than the pictures would make it appear.

I'm with you on this one Dragonclaw - mine photographs exactly like yours, and is the SG version. And I've seen and handled many SGs and Godaikins, and there's never been a colour variation as noticeable as these pictures make out. This thread has the awful beginnings of an urban myth about it, with rumours of 2-Tone T28s starting to surface...

Has anyone got a picture of the two variants side by side?
