i am loving the TMNT it could one the best looking TMNT figures since the NECA ones, but these will be more posable. i hope we see Shredder, Metalhead or Splinter before they are done

my son got one of those battery operated Astroboy walking figure....hardly no articulation at all......but its a gift so i couldnt complain...  |

I had one that was an outer armor snap-on, so you could see the insides
and press a button to make the eyes light up. I scored it at TRU.
Not much articulation to it; and whenever I posed it the plastic armor
would fall off the arms.

BBTS has posted preorders for the Revoltech TMNT . $220 for all four. No way. The 40.00 i spent on the Playmates TMNT for my boy is a bargain.

I was going to say, when did the price of Revoltech get this high? Even at $40 a piece it is high. No way are Revoltechs any better than D-Arts, SH Figuarts, robot spirit or Figma. This is my first time posting here, I have seen that the revoltech releases have been really slow on the robot side... I was expecting an update on their museum line, a Gaogaigar Final, a Jeeg or even a new Godannar would be awesome, but all has gone to hell with characters like hello kitty and such... anyways, do you think they will release any Real or super robo in a short term?

Hi Vash, and Welcome to RJ! I agree with you, it's been a few years since Kaiyodo had released any more anime robots. They sure milked the hell out of the Evangelion franchise with all those later versions. Right now Kaiyodo is still riding their current licenses for Disney, Marvel, and other film studios, because that's what is largely bringing in the money at this time and is in popular demand by today's overseas fans of Disney and Marvel. I miss the Yamaguchi sculpts; and I was surely hungry to see a Revoltech Mazinger-Z figure to come out of that line. But I guess that will never happen. I'm not quite sure Kaiyodo will go back to the Revoltech line to make any more super robots; but then again, surprises can happen at any time. Let's just keep wishing. zozo-mag |

BBTS has posted Revoltech Darth Vader its about $65.00. Given that SW Black Series is about 22.00 and MAFEX is about 50.00. As well as SHF to be released in the near future. I find it hard to justify ordering another Vader figure. Revoltech Vader has some sculpt issues - chest , waist , slender limbs , the elbow , knee joints look off and though I see that adding articulation to the Cape is cool the execution is kind of lacking. Thats my take on it. If the price is significantly reduced then down the road I may buy one.
