Raoh (just came in last Friday) comes with an insert that explains a little more... The gold figures are a mail-in exclusive. The points that you need to send in are printed on the left end of the top box flap tab (though I've already stored my boxes away so I'll have to verify later and get back to you on that). Each figure is 7 points, there is a T shirt for 7 points, and a box/pliers/set of joints for 2 points. I can scan the booklet sometime this week and post it if you would like, but the vast majority is in Kanji, so unless you read Japanese it won't yield much additional information for you. Kinda disappointing that these are a mail-away, and will be impossible for import (US) collectors to get their hands on by redeeming points, seeing as how I have enough for one already, and since I plan on getting two horses I would have enough for the other by the end (supposed/assumed) of the series run... Oh well, just another day as a foreign Revoltech collector... Hmm, you might want to try contacting one of the smaller import services, like TokyoBuyers. They might be able to order it for you if you send them the "points" and pay a commission + shipping and everything. Might be worth a try, it'd almost definitely be cheaper than waiting and getting the figure from Yahoo! Japan, etc.

I've considered doing just that, but I've been going off the deep end with exclusive revoltech items lately and these are honestly not unique enough for me to spend a bunch of time and money on.
Still, I may look around and see what I can come up with.

Shin comes with an axe and a sickle type weapon, he never used weapons in the manga, does he use them in the cartoon or something? Can anyone shed some light on why he comes with these weapons? Pics on the box don't display him with weapons either. Btw, anyone else find the RT joint doesn't fit all the way in his upper arms? I'm thinking of cutting about 2 mm off the joint to let it fit all the way snugly. The weapons are not for Shin, but the Zeed thugs (the guy that explodes). Shin doesn't really need weapons does he? ;D As of the arms not fitting too well, I can't remember mine has the issue. But even if so, I would rather drill the soft PVC deeper instead of cutting the revoltech joints, since they are all meant to be universal. But if you don't have the tools (small modelling hand drill), then you don't have much choice. For stains on the skin or in some cases, very ugly weathering washes sploches, you can sand it out with sand paper. Just need to find the right grit (I use the 3M 320 grit yellow sand sponge sheet I find at Home Depot) and works pretty good. Fine enough to give it a matte surface without leaving scratches.

If you're not in Japan, then I'm almost certain that Kaiyodo won't send the figures directly. These sorts of offers almost always have fine print limiting the offer to national residents, etc. What I was proposing is to get in touch with a deputy service (I mentioned Tokyo Buyers tokyobuyers.blogspot.com/, who are the people I usually work with). It's possible that you could arrange something with them that would work like this: - You contact a deputy service, they agree to get the figures for you
- You send the deputy service the "points" and order form
- The deputy service sends the completed form and "points" to Kaiyodo (or whoever)
- Kaiyodo sends the figures to the deputy service
- You pay the deputy service (usually a flat rate + percentage of item price, along with shipping cost within Japan and the international shipping cost )
- The deputy service sends you the figures
- Rejoice at your wonderful collection!
- Get more money
- Repeat all steps
But you'd have to get in touch with the deputy services first, because a redemption program is a little different from the financial transactions they usually do.

But, re: the weapons that came with Shin, I don't know that it's for the soldier figures. That's what I thought first too, that the weapons are for the Zeed thugs. But the compatible hands fit Shin, not the soldier guys. Their hands aren't held by standard RT joints, so leads me to think somewhere out there, Shin is using weapons?!

I still think the weapons are mainly for the thugs, but Kaiyodo this time being more thoughtful to let Shin to hold them as well, since people might likely complain if they don't include those hands for shin, as not everyone would have own the Zeed thug figure. In the manga, Shin never used any weapons.

It's a great theory, Mpchi, but the new axe is too loose for the Zeed thug's hand. However, you can 'fake' it. The sickle fits a bit better even though it's loose.
I wonder if in the newer anime does Shin pick up some weapons to fight?
Anyway, love these guys and can't wait for Raoh to get here!

Raoh is a fantastic figure, he's seriously H-U-G-E. I saw the size comparison images to Kenshiro awhile back, but they really don't properly convey the massive size of this figure. To think that the Warden is even bigger (at least girth wise) is awesome. This, and the upcoming Kokuoh-go (which I'm getting at least two of), have really reinvigorated my enthusiasm for this line. I can't wait for the Warden figure now, as he and Raoh will look absolutely amazing together. Also, Revoltech Express has a full color solicitation up for the upcoming gold edition figures... bakaneko.way-nifty.com/photos/uncategorized/2009/02/13/photo.jpg

can Uighur's cape fit with Roah?

I'd imagine so...
I'd that I'd have to remove his shoulder pads...I think...
And the cape actually has a Revo joint near the top that pegs into Urighur's back...and Raoh doesn't have the peg hole for that...
Still, I'd imagine that the collar would hold it on just fine...
I'll try it out later tonight...

so does it fit yet?

Yes, it fits...but you have to take the revolver joint out of the neck of the cape or it doesn't fit...and take the shoulder pads off of Raoh or it looks a little clumsy (though it doesn't really look bad, just less clumsy without them). I'll let the images do most of the talking though...

I have Uighur too. The three piece cape looks better on Uighur definitely.
How does he hide those whips in his tight little helmet... lolz
