Thought I'd take advantage of the new forum to start a thread concerning these upcoming figures to coincide with the HNK anniversary. Made by Kaiyodo they have some Revoltech joints and are going under the Revolution (powered by Revoltech ) name. Pre-orders are up at HLJ for a release in September! The bold Kenshiro! The explosive Jeed / Zeed Dan!

Hopefully this line will offer the same variety of characters that Kayodo did for their 199X and 200X lines.
Revoltech + FOTNS could not be a better combination, IMHO.

I hope they've got some Gurren-Lagann MALE characters in the works.
I can already smell Kamina, Simon, and Viral.

Nice find Tenken, Rei comes with the little guy and a few other accessories. Don't know much about the series but I do like the look of these. Some more images of upcoming releases in this line just to keep things tidy: Rei (again) Jagi Toki Raoh

I just got Kenshiro and the Z squad dood. They are awesome by the way, i am planning to collect them all. I think they are the best male human revoltechs to date.

I am a Hokuto fan and excited about these when they show early unpainted prototype, but just not feeling this line after seeing the colored ones. Didn't like the sleepy eyes, the arms are real big while the torso is very small. While not bad per se, but I think they could have done a lot better, given that they nailed a lot of the previous Revoltechs.

Thats the art style of the anime, and trust me when you see it in front of you it'll blow you away. Best male revoltech to date

Thats the art style of the anime, and trust me when you see it in front of you it'll blow you away. Best male revoltech to date Don't think they captured the anime/manga proportion really well though. Its the narrow torso. Hokuto guys always have a very broad chest. But the mass went sideways to the arms instead (probably for articulation purposes). See what I mean? Was gonna collect the whole line, but gave up and spent my money on the Medicom 12" Kenshiro instead. That one need some work too, but is one cool figure, if you can live with some inaccuracy. But the Revoltechs sure has the advantage of owning more characters, as the price is much much lower. They are still a big improvement from many older generation Kaiyodo Hokuto figures, like the 199X & 200X series. Here is my Kenshiro.

I bought Ken and will be buying some of the others for sure.
You guys are right, not as nice as the robot stuff, a bit messy looking, but still a lot of fun can be had posing it. I have problem with his screaming head getting stuck so badly in the peg, I nearly broke my nail trying to get him out and nearly broke the RT joint too, so watch out for that. Otherwise, not a bad toy.
I don't know if this is the best toy for Ken, I don't have any of the 200X figures. I do like these figures a lot more than Medicom RAH Kenshiro (I also have it). That is a nice picture, Mpchi!

2 sets of the same hands? Is it supposed to be this way or is it a screw up? Why would they do that? RT usually is pretty well thought out about what accessories they would include... my Rei is shipping out in the mail.

In terms of sculpt though, revoltech did a pretty decent job. Compared to Revoltech Ryu, this line is way better. (size wise too)

just got rei nice figure 2 sets of the same hands tho I just got my Rei today, the extra hands are very similar, but not exactly the same. The thumbs are obviously more bent and index fingers raised up a bit more on one set of hands. You may want to double check. If you bought from HLJ, they are good about fixing this kind of problem. My only nitpick about my Rei is there is a bit of glossy glue on his forehead between his bangs, but it's not the end of the world.

I haven't watched much of the series so can't tell you anything about this guy other than that the spare head for the enemy grunt looks cool.

They are kind of cool in an 80s sort of way. I have the live action I have been meaning to watch. I need to go back and watch the OG as well.
I think the Toki is the only one I want. I would mod him to be like a super powered Jesus.

Fellows, these Fist of the NorthStar figures are really great. I'm enjoying the line a lot and I've gotten them all so far.
The long haired dude is Shin... the man who gave Kenshiro his seven scars. I LOVE his spare accessory, hilarious! I may have to buy another Zeed soldier, looks like they're including more weapons to create more variety.

I'm really tempted to start buying these - kind of missing my regular fix as the main Revoltech line has been a bit underwhelming recently and there's nothing coming up that really appeals outside of Enkidudu. Super-powered Jesus guy is probably going to be first too. I like his chains.
