Im personally not feeling this Gin Gin. The design just doesnt sit right with me. I guess I'll just keep the one I have and hopefully one day Bandai will produce their own version of Gin Gin. Darksenshi has a forward facing horn too! Frankly im all about Anime Acuuracy, but a horn direction? Thats going even too far for me,if it was on a Super Robot hero ok,but this is a rather obscure Super robot villain, big deal,20 robots from now,we will forget which direction is which anyway.

Thanks Baron, its an excellent figure isn't it? The more I mess with him the more I like it.
OK UPDATE. I spoke with HLpro and he said this. If (and that is a BIG IF) they do another batch of Gin Gin, they will improve the saw blades with a twist-locking system to keep them on more securely. The strange angles on the wrists of the open hands will not be done again... no need for them.
Also, this is a working prototype that we are basically "field testing" for them.. future 70s figures will feature MORE range of articulation with a smoother motion and still maintain the "stealth joint" feature as they continue the development of this style of articulation. Also, MTs will also become slightly Larger than the old MT01 that we use as the standard for the Metaltech line. They said that their is still plenty of room for development and improvement with this type of articulation and they are going to go all they with it as long as it applies to the character they are making at the time.

Yes he is a very cool figure, the more I look at him every day,the more intrigueing he looks ! a great design and realization.

look, if it means that much to you guys, that head and horns are so soft, that you probably COULD just stick a hard wire up through the bottom of the head and it would hold that horn in any position you would want from the INSIDE. its almost like that "Gumby" material.. all the "picky" stuff aside, its a REAL GOOD figure.. I was surprised how much range of motion he has.. WAIT A MIN, WAIT A MINUITE .. you can just PUSH that horn back!.. I think with heat and cold water it would stay.. its pretty flexible.. I don't think its gonna be a problem for you guys want it to go back.. People can be picky about a figure that costs over $100. Don't you think?

BTW what do you work as TheMazingers? Nothing. I am retired now. }D LOL, you should be upgraded to TheMazinkaiserZ by now Now, from the images, I do not feel impressed by Gin Gin! It looks OK but it doesn't look like an anime-accurate figure as most of you've mentioned. Worrying part is that there is someone who is complaining about some QC, specially with the figure arms. Anyone here got a prob. with QC? Anyway, it is early for me to judge the figure as long as it is not between my hands yet. No matter what, it is the only Gin Gin around and I appreciate HL PRO bringing it to us...but yeah, for a 100+ USD; fans have the right to be picky!

I have to remove my glasses to see stuff up at Very close range, especially when doing small detailed stuff. ( I'm near-sighted). zozo-mag Anime is what counts in my book. I could really care less about what anything said regarding these Super Robots. It is what I saw on TV that counts. Back to the head/horn issue, I can cast the head fairly easily, but painting it is a different story. My eyes are not the same they used to be, and I can barely focus on anything closer than a foot away from me. This makes it almost impossible for me to do a decent job with tiny details, like the eyes and other small features on the head. }D

What also look to be a great improvement is the sculpt of the hands and fists! They look great ! With all honesty MT01 hands and fists looked just funny and far from being high end product to me! But those look bandai quality! Great

Knock it off! The horn goes both ways in the episode, either is correct. If you don't like it, don't BUY IT! I got the figure and I love it, no problems other than the saw blades will pop off if you try to move the arms by grabbing the outer edge of the shields. Other than that, Its real good. And by the way.. 100 bucks is NOTHING. 100 bucks wont even get you a decent front motorcycle tire. Hell for what you guys are paying for SRC's?..sh*t that wouldn't even get you a set of stock replacement foot pegs for a Honda. My translucent blue intake cover for my Buell was $260 delivered and its just a plastic body part with some screw holes , 2 factory decals and a rubberized bumper on the top.
If 100 bucks is expensive for you , don't EVER consider Motorcycling as a hobby! Especially Honda, Ducati, Buell or Harley Davidson.

THIS IS COMING FROM A HUGE HL PRO SUPPORTER (ME) BUT NOT FROM AN @$$ KISSER! ARE YOU GETTING YOUR ITEMS FOR FREE OR FOR LESS PRICE OR SOMETHING FOR YOUR VIDEOS, SO THAT'S WHY YOU ARE ON FIRE? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? YOU SAID THAT IT'S A SUPER FIGURE FOR YOU, WE F****** GOT IT! BUT DON'T PLAY THE TOUGH GUY HERE AND ASK US TO SHUT UP AND NOT TO SAY WHAT WE SEE! PLEASE, STOP THAT FUNNY TALK ABOUT THE HORNS GOING BOTH WAYS BLA BLA BLA, THIS GIN GIN IS "OK" (THAT'S WHY WE WILL BUY IT) BUT NOT AS IMPRESSIVE AS WE HAVE EXPECTED! THIS IS SOMETHING I WOULD TELL TO JAMMY MYSELF IF THE FIGURE IS BETWEEN MY HANDS AND I AM NOT OK WITH ITS QC, ETC. I AM NOT EVEN OK WITH THE COLORS IN THE PHOTOS, AND SO ARE MANY FANS! NOW, PLEASE, STOP YOUR "TOUGH GUY" TONE, BEFORE SOMEONE 'SPACE THUNDER' YOU! AND REMEMBER, THERE ARE SOME POOR PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD (EVEN WHERE DO YOU LIVE) WHO DO NOT HAVE 1 DOLLAR IN THEIR POCKETS, BUT YET, THEY STILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE ENTERTAINED AND OWN WHAT THEY LOVE!

I should be getting mine today, and then I'll post how I feel about it. Motorcycles expensive hobby? Try shooting - as a hobby. Guns are not cheap, but Bullets can get really expensive, and you just don't go to the range to shoot 10 of them. Also, how about Smoking? That has to be the most expensive "hobby" ever... only second to drug addiction! Wait, I take that back! DATING has to be the most expensive hobby of all!!! }D
