Glad you like it TMZ, I think it rocks too (as everyone now knows)but let me ask you this, those saw blades messing with your head at all? Yeah the backwards motion of the leg isn't that good but they said the next one will have a lot more now that they are getting the hang of that system.

ha ha On jin Jin I actually paid normal price because I didn't save up enough money in my robot budget to place a bigger order and get a good discount because Im building that Buell I just picked up .. that last time when I got like 4 figures, yeah I got a good discount but that's with anybody who contacts PBM and asks about a discount. I am also not kissing ass either, right in my video I point out the 2 things that get on my nerves about that figure but still, I don't regret that figure and it actually turned out better than I expected in a lot of ways. You don't get any discount? That's surprising. Paul matched a price for me too like he did a few other guys who brought it up but Im not going to expect a big discount on just one figure.. I know the numbers involved and Im not going to cut into his commission too much.. he lays out a lot of money at one time on this stuff and that is what is keeping those orders flowing ... I wanna see HLPRO become the company I think its going to become over time...it would only be the difference of a couple of drinks at the bar anyway. Id buy Paul drinks all night long anyway.

This custom figure looks more anime accurate Gin Gin to me... Dude here are the pics...notice how perfect their box art, and how the eyes and horns are different in the actual figure. Box art (took it from Baron, not too clear but you get the idea) The actual figure: side horns too thick and the middle horn comes straight from the top, and eyes are too thin like a cat They should have at least followed their box art The MT04 Gin Gin eyes and middle horn are no problem to me. I really don't care if the mid horn is fixed fwd or bwd since it was both ways in the anime. In fact if I would ask for better horns, then I am talking about the right and left side horns. They need to get reshaped and wider a bit, IMHO. Anyway, I repeat, I love HL PRO and am just waiting to see if I will "love" or just "like" this Gin Gin. Hopefully, la cité des nuages will ship it faaast! TMZ's post gave me a light of good hope, specially, that there are no complains about QC except from 1 buyer as far...but those spinning razors, well...we will see!

but the horn on the custom goes FORWARD! he he he no, for real Dammage, all joking around aside.. Im not bullsh*tting you.. when you see it in person youll like it. When I look at pictures or my videos of it.. it doesn't look as good in the video as it is in person. Its a very clean production, best Metaltech yet. Youll see.. yeah the saw blades mess with my mind , but its still real cool. That horn and eyes, I don't think youre gonna really notice it .. it doesn't look strange in anyway when you have it in your hands

I am talking about the 2 horns on both the left and right sides.

Ok when you see videos or photos of those horns.. the light or the flash is taking away a lot of the shadows of natural light. They don't look that good in photos, but to the naked eye in normal lighting they look good..they don't look crazy or too big or too small.. they look "right" on that head.. the sculpt is kind of "modernized" compared to the body style a little bit. but it looks real good when you see it in reality. NOW the SIZE is at little bit bigger than MT01 but the way the body and joints look.. he looks considerably more massive that MT01, a lot of it is optical illusion though. I have a good idea that the future Grendy will be made to match him and the other figures also, so get mentally prepared. Next to the MT01, it makes the MT01 look very "primitive"... so, I think this is a good direction for HLpro to go. I think you will love it. The only thing I do not love is the razors, I think something like a "Lego" type pegs would have been stronger and make it easy to more his arms by holding the shields.. you cannot move his arms by using the shields, the razors will detach. Maybe a touch of rubber on the pegs will help but I have not tried it yet.

Dear GS, I am not talking about the lighting and shades or the size of the right and left side horns! I am talking about their "shape". They do not look like Gin Gin's horns from the anime! Please scroll up and compare the anime and the figure images. Eyes aren't anime-accurate too. The Metaltech line is not about restylizing like the Fewture Models but about anime or manga accuracy.

well in the anime the horns changed a lot.. but I understand what you are saying. When you see this head in person I think you will like it.. it looks pretty good to the guys who have it already. Wait until you see it in person before you judge it too hard. In my opinion it looks good.. when I took mine out of the box, I was like "OH... OK ..yes!" Just have faith. When does yours come?

Oh man! That looks H.O.T.! Thanks for the "Breaking News" Ross. Obviously it's base for upcoming MT character...Gattaiger? Z Mzinger?? I'm liking Metaltech more and more. Def a smart move! I hope someday HLPro will do a die cast carrier for Sentai bots too!

Nice looking base. I always said companies like HLPRO should build stuff that not only compliments their line but others like SOC's ad SRC's. Doesn't mean you can't forge an identity with your own figures but it does mean you widen your audience and thus will become a part of the collective "group" and not a competitor ie. SRC vs Metaltech. You won't win against Bandai, but you can co-exist and compliment each other.

When the horns changed in the anime, it was the middle one, which I am OK with but not the L & R horns too much! Anyway, we all know it was a mistake in the anime. I am not sure how may I write it again and again and again that I DID NOT judge this toy yet because I still did not get it in my hands, but I can surly judge how it looks in photos, and if it looks bad in photos, that's not fine with me cuz I LOVE to take photos of my figures and share 'em with my good friends and the fans. So, yes, I am waiting to see it in real before I judge it and I am also waiting for my own photography to see how it's gonna look in it, and I am waiting to test its QC MYSELF. Cheers!

Chen understands.. Bandai is like a 30 year old Mike Tyson.. not a good Idea to get into a fight with him.. but he is cool, you can hang out with him,, just don't make any direct threats to him. Bandai has unlimited money and technology. Hlpro is a relatively small, privately owned company. It has to offer things that Bandai does not offer, and it has to do things in ways Bandai does not do them.. until very recently, HLPro mostly offered vinyls (and damn good ones)... now more priority is being given to the die cast game.. I consider Gin Gin to be a super good start for the next generation Metaltech... they will only get better as they go. It has to be a situation that's like "Tom Cruise is hanging out with Mike Tyson and they are picking up chicks.."

Thanks man...Overall is nice, but I was already aware of the stuff that I didn't like. Pros: + Articulations are way better than pervious MT + Hidden joints + Nice color app + Good amount of Diecast Cons: - Inaccurate head sculpt (eyes specifically, and side horns) - Flimsy blades - Pricier than the competition especially with the lack of accessories The TFO bonus is nice, but it would be better if they added the Vegan mini-fos...people who watched the ending of Gin Gin will understand
