gingin looks good. i'm really intrigued about the next two releases. i was going to order gingin, but that would mean i need a grendizer AND spazer. gets $ quick. i guess he would look ok next to gx-04 what was the list price for the manga metaltech grendizer when he was first released? You could actually just wait for the MT01V2 to come out...its articulation is gonna be based on this one with probably more range on movement.. Gin Gin "works" with my two MT01s, but Ill tell you guys.. Grendy is looking kind of "tired" next to the new Gin Gin.. his age is showing! When that V2 comes out, the older models may go back into to boxes and into collectors deep-freeze...OR I will just put the 'Chrome" into the spazer on permanent display as a "flying" mode example.. depends on how much room I have. Next to Grendy , Gin Gin looks like the "Hero"...BUT, Giru Giru looks FANTASTIC next to Gin Gin, they match perfectly.

he is "fairly heavy".. more than MT01.. he feels pretty solid, smooth joint movement... and I am getting better at not knocking his saw blades off...he feels like an expensive figure but just done a little bit differently..

I just want to mention something real quick to you collectors here though. Gin Gin is great and all, they aren't going to make many of him I don't think, but the true "rare Collectors item" out of this whole line is The Trike! They did not make many Buggys because it was not that popular but its a super excellent sculpt. HLPRO thinks there is only a few hundred of them in the US, they were saying maybe around 400. Because they are difficult to track once the dealers get them.
The Story with the HLpro Trike and the 1970s Popy Trike are similar.. if you have a Popy Trike in the box its worth a FORTUNE today.. Robot history shows that its always the unpopular toy with hight quality from a popular series that ends up being worth the most over time. Just sayin... the future is hard to predict, I cant tell you how much a Hlpro trike will be worth one day but out of all the MTs made so far, Id put my money on the Trike as being the one that ends up being real hard to find in the future.

were on here fussing over the die casts, bc die cast is pretty cool.. but we forget about the vinyl sometimes... HLpro is "upping their game" in diecast nowadays but they have ALWAYS had super good VINYLS.. vinyl is HLPro's "bread and butter".

Huh? lol... Pre-ordering it? I'm not a customer for the GinGin! It's a beautiful figure, but I'm not buying it... I've got my eyes set on the DX Maz. I was just complimenting the HLPro's GinGin figure and all the good reviews it's been getting. zozo-mag That GinGin looks beautiful! And I must say this is the first time in perhaps a year or longer, since the release of the DX Maz, that I've ever seen such an enthusiastic reception for a new product in this hobby here at RJ... and that's because HLPro took their time and patience to do things Right the first time and produce a fine quality result (without much or any sneak-peak online hype nor teasers)... I like that approach: Keep Quiet, Get On with the project, produce a superb quality finished product, and Theeeeen publicize it! zozo-mag Congratulations, bro! I didn't know you were pre-ordering it! Thanks also for clearing the matter of time and patience to us. Someone lied to me and told me they took much time to fix some issues with the arms!

Thanks. I am interested in the actual weight like Gold often posts. Call me weird but I love knowing that sort of thing.

Something is off with his colors too. Also, everyone's complaining about the spinning razors, so, I hope it really deserves your cheers! I am not attacking the figure, but as I know the anime by heart it doesn't impress me in the photos that much. Hopefully, I will change my mind when it is between my hands.

actually the razors, I am getting used to. I have short, thick fingers, kind of clumsy. They will not fall off on their own, but if you push them, they will come off, its just very difficult to move the arms without touching the shields at first but, as my figure starts breaking-in, it gets easier and easier to move without pushing on the razors. It takes time to get used to this figure and learn what he can do. I discovered today that he CAN kneel! Not as good as a SRC can kneel but much better than MT01 can kneel. You will like him after you get to know him.

I don't have a scale like that.. you gonna catalog it in your book? ha ha Yep. Blame Gold. It is one of the things he does in his reviews I love. It is kinda like knowing the HP of a motorcycle engine. Understand?

oh yeah.. its in all of us to one extent or another.. haha
Ill see what I can do for ya.. It may take a while though unless someone else has a scale like that handy.
Funny that you mention motorcycles. We call some guys "Numbers Chasers".. they are like Junkies "Chasing the Dragon".. the numbers are never high enough or low enough, no matter what they do or how much they spend. I have seen them drop $3,500 in carbon fiber just to save 1,5 pounds off of a motorcycle that was already a featherweight, Ive seen them tear a whole motor down and rebuild it, spending $1,500 in parts just to gain 5-6 horsepower.. that addiction can get real extreme if you let it get out of control... ahhaha

True facts. I just like to know for a statical reason. Height and weight you know *-)
I get the dragon chasing. I see it for road cycling too. I have a carbon fiber bike not really because of the lightness but because I needed it to be strong enough to not flex from my leg strength (I squat over 500 for reps). But I have seen guys reducing by grams for major money. I just laugh.
I am patient about the weight. Hopefully someone else will do it. If I get him I will for sure. I happen to have one as I weigh a lot of my food for bodybuilding. I eat a lot lol

yeah the science is the same.. power to weight ratio, in "motorized bicycles" the bike makes all the power, the rider is just dead weight actually.. he is just the nervous system for the bike. All your top-notch racers diet like supermodels ha ha you gotta have decent muscle power but not all that much. Ideal weight in motorsports for racing is like 140 lbs. I am about 10 lbs overweight right now, but guys can lose weight quick.. I can lose 5 lbs in a week if I have to. I go on these Indian food kicks.. I get fat as hell on that stuff and then I gotta trim back down.. ahhaha
btw, go ahead and get him... you wont be disappointed. Just the "enemy character" alone makes it worth it in my opionon

Just curious. What do you like about it so far,we all know you hate the head. This is the type of figure you need to own before making any decisions on it.Its alot different than the Metaltech Grendizer, not better or worse just different.
