I really enjoyed So Long, My Love, myself. Some of the voice acting can be iffy (my personal favorite gaffe being a "KHAN!" moment that comes late in the game. "SHIIIIIIIIIINYYYYYYYYYYYY"), but the gameplay is solid, the characters are fun, and the art is great.
I'd love to play through it more times to get more endings, but right now I'm juggling Dragon Quest 8 (borrowed from a friend, so I neeeed to finish it) and Assassin's Creed 2 ... so many games, so little time...

Finally started FFXIII, got it a costco a copy of weeks back for 36$. Resurgence map pack on COD Modern Warfare 2, and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. Finally updated my old launch day model PSP-1000 to OFW to play this game. Until they release another CFW that works with all games without the need to create patches and add to the plugin files, I will stick with OFW. It's just too much trouble, looking for the patch, repatching the game and etc.. Looking forward to Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep also.

How is Afterburner? Worth the $10? I might be convinced to get it. I have a bit of a history with AB. Used to love the arcade game (yes, the one you see John playing in T2). Then I got the PSP game and got pretty far before my autistic cousin decided to randomly delete my game save... I was pretty bitter about that (although, it was probably my own fault for not supervising her). Anyway, still playing Mushroom Wars campaign. So freaking close to the end, I think. Frustratingly close. As with all RTS games you have to go through the motions, and one little mistake and the AI will capitalize on it. Oh yeah, and Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love on PS2... It's funny to realize I've watched almost all the anime, read the manga, etc... but this is the first time I get to play a Sakura Wars game. And it comes off pretty well. Not sure if it would be the smash success it is in Japan, but it's interesting as far as a game concept goes. Man, just realized I haven't checked this thread out in a loooong while. I'm sorry Ben! LOL! Afterburner Climax is great! I think it's totally worth the $10. It is very short however and that's been a source of some concern. But it does have trophy support. Although there aren't very many of them, the replay value comes in getting all the EX bonuses in-game. Graphically it's fantastic! If you havn't gotten it from PSN yet I do recommend it. Past that, I've been trying to get the Rival Schooled/All Clear Trophies on Super Street Fighter IV.

(WindowsXP sp2) Solitaire. ;D
I play it for hours on end while I'm burning dvds, and even while I'm watching movies. I just keep playing to beat my high scores. ;D

Peace Walker. This is almost the same as Portable Ops. Separate missions instead of one big continuous game.

Still plugging away at Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. I've made a vow that I can't get a PS3 until I finish my piled-up backlog of PS2 RPGs. I have ... a lot still to go >.<

I have ... a lot still to go >.< My PS2 backlog sits on my shelf and laughs at me every day, constantly gaining strength. Now I have a mini PS1 backlog too, in the form of Parasite Eve, Koudelka and Einhander(thanks, local used game store!). Someday I'll overcome it. At least I keep telling myself that. The last few times I tried to use the PS2, it's made a terrible whirring sound. Right now I'm playing Transformers: War for Cybertron, Final Fantasy V (again) and Godzilla Unleashed (awesome)

Finally finished SMT: Nocturne!
Now to decide what to put on the block next. Radiata Stories? Rogue Galaxy? Wild Arms 3? Suikoden 3? They're all started... just have to put in the time to finish them >.<

Right now I'm dabbling a bit with Scarlet Weather Rhapsody from the Touhou Project series. It's a nice doujin fighting game with some pretty interesting game mechanics. Very much on the "moe, moe" side things, yet still manages to have some fierce action to it. Can't wait to try some of Zun's shooters at some point! touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Scarlet_Weather_RhapsodyStill have quite a little PS3/(PS2 import) backlog. GOW III, Blazblue, Gundam Senki, Soldner X2, and the Gundemonium series for PS3. SRWOGs, SRW Gaiden and Oneechanbara for my Japanese PS2. Oh, and slugging away on NDS games, Megaman Zero Collection and SRWOG Frontier as time permits. *sigh* Sort of puts a cramp on my tentative plans to pick up a PSP and NeoGeo Heroes.

SRTOG Saga: Masou Kishin Dragon Quest IX The Beatles: Rock Band
Finally finished Front Mission 5. This has so many references to the previous FM games. Had fun with Darril (male main character of FM 4) soloing some missions. He's a BEAST with the right wanzer.

Finally able to play Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. Just found out about 5.50 prometheus V4. This is an addon to cfw 5.50 Gen D-3. Has the new prx files from 6.20 firmware. I had to update one of my PSP unit to official firmware when peace walker came out, just so I can play it. Now I can stash the UMD away and keep it in my collection of Metal Gear games. It's kinda funny cause I have 3 PSP units. The one that run official firmware is the launch day unit I got during the first day the PSP was release. I then purchase a broken PSP 1000 model to learn all this custom firmware and hacking. The UMD drive on this unit is broken so the only way to play games on it is through memory stick. And last year, I purchase a PSP 2000 model, another beat up version that I have refurbished. I got this one just so I can run the new CFW. Didn't feel like switching back and forth on just one unit. The good thing about the 2000 model is that it has a/v out, so I can play on the tv if I choose to.

Working on Radiata Stories, but I've been briefly distracted by Alien Swarm on Steam. It's free, and damn fun cooperative humans vs. xenomorph action.

Thanks for the heads up on this! I've been holding out on getting Peace Walker because I didn't want to loose ~75% of my PSP functionality through switching back to Sony firmware. Hooray! *note: this is not an endorsement of game piracy at all. Custom firmware has many benefits beyond enabling this. I wholeheartedly believe we should support our game developers!
