All I gotta say is never give up, like most competition and competitive games, it easy to get discourage after a couple of loses, but if you stick with it and don't give up, eventually you will get it, then it becomes fun. I can't even remember how many hours i've put into all of the street fighter 2 games, from home consoles to the arcades, and I can hold my own now, but in no way am I good enough to play against those that play in tournaments. I like to think that one day, I'll get good enough and hopefully, with plenty of online challengers, I can learn there fighting styles, combo, cheats, and be good enough to play in arcade tournaments.

Which version of the hacked Firmware are you using on your PSP. So you have your Wii, chipped or does it play Japanese games without one, like the PS3? I'm using 3.71 M33-2 with an XBox Theme. My Wii has a chip to play imports. They aren't region free like PS3's. Photoshop Fun Time with Random Images..

It is pretty cool since I have access to the PS store. Where did you get the Wii chipped?

Macross Frontier Ace is okay for the PSP. Gundam vs. Gundam, Gundam Chronicles are also pretty good, but the latter can get fairly hard. Nothing really to write home about. Seeing as Gundam games didn't do very well here in the US, we would have to get the imports to play.

PS3: Ninja Gaiden Sigma- finished this several times already, just trying to get all of the secret items out (costumes, other weapons, etc). Heavenly Sword- fun game, ridiculuously short (as far as reviews go-haven't finished it yet, trying to savor the game), awesome graphics and battle system. Soul Calibur 4-just for the create character option-fun!

I know it's an old CFW but I don't have a PS3 so I don't need the latest Firmware. I was using 3.40 OE-a for a while before I tried playing Force Unleashed and it didn't work so upgraded.

But you will also be able to play ripped PS2 games with the newest firmware. I don't think you can do that with 3.78 M33. PM your email I can send you the 5.00 M33. I would recommend considering the PS3, Blu-ray player, friendlier to upgrade, games are finally getting on par with the 360, Metal Gear Solid, etc.

You sure about the PS2 games? I'm always over at the maxconsole forum helping others with CFW installation but have never heard of the ability for PS2 emulation on the PSP. The new 5.00 M33-4 only offers a new popsloader that allows for more PSX games. There have been attempts at both GameCube and PS2 emulation for the PSP, unfortunately, the PSP's hardware just wasn't capable to handle the PS2 or GC games. The newer firmware allows for access to the PSN, new PSP demo games, and a new popsloader. I can update mines to 5.00 m33-4 at any time but am reluctant to do so because I would have to redo the CXMB plugin, the CWCheats olugin and etc... Simply put, if you don't have plugins, then do the upgrade, if you do and don't want to give up some of the functions like irshell, and other things, then there is no need. The main thing I hate with each new CFW is that old plugins no longer works and by the time they recode them, a new CFW gets release.

The "real" answer is: Internet.

The new prince of persia was awesome, until you get to the ending, where it tries to go the route of "Shadow of the Colossus" but just makes you angry because it doesn't have the same buildup that SotC did. I give it a thumbs up for everything but the end.
Now, back to Persona 4.

I really want to play POP4 but the old Prince games had some of the best story telling in gaming.

The Sands of Time trilogy had a great overall story arc and I liked the little wrinkles that Time travel threw into everything. PoP4's story isn't anywhere near as complex, but the way it's told is highly enjoyable. I'd recommend at least renting it; it wont take very long to beat.

I am currently playing X-com. Also played Mario Party 8 the other night and Mario Kart Wii. I am hoping to be playing Little Big Planet once my PS3 gets here. I got 150 off of a PS3 when using a sony card.

I just got reminded why I don't really like playing online with total strangers (because you may have unreasonable expectations of them, and vice versa)... I booted up Dawn of War Dark Crusade (because it's the only game I have on my laptop not requiring a CD (silly me, I forgot to bring games to my family home). I just played an on-line game 3 on 3 and was the first to get eliminated... I never even knew you could set the objective to be "destroy the HQ" so I didn't really bother to protect my base - instead I chose to make an ever-expanding perimeter... an enemy unit (their ultimate unit at that) managed to race past my defensive line and ran up to my Q and started pounding at it before I could redeploy.
After I got killed, one of my allied players writes, "our ally was a retard" Gee thanks... I can still hear you, dumb-sh*t!

While at home on break, away from my computer and systems, I've been playing "Professor Layton and the Curious Village". Rather fun and engrossing, considering it's basically a massive collection of puzzles.
