I started playing The World Ends With You this weekend. It was fun, but I don't know why, I'm getting bored of it. Maybe it's that new partner you get later in the game... (snotty *@$%#...) I'll probably put it on standby for a while and move to something else. You'll get used to Joshua, I promise! He is pretty grating at first, but it eventually gets pretty funny to watch Neku's reactions. The combat is a lot more fun with a good set of pins, too. It can range from tedious to amazing, depending. The TWEWY Wikia is amazingly useful if you need help getting/finding anything: twewy.wikia.com/wiki/Pin_Evolution_TableProof of my obsession with the game:

I wish Namco would continue to support the Guncon 3 though...They never even offered a player 2 gun (meaning that lots of Gamestops have just Time Crisis 4 used as the guns get snapped up QUICKLY, it's how I got mine ). Seriously though it should be a no brainer for Namco to put out a few value priced PS3 disks...one with Time Crisis 1-3, I with the Point Blank series, and one with Vampire Night and Ninja Attack. As for me, I am currently playing a lot of: Grid (360) Little Big Planet (PS3) Fallout (360) and anxiously awaiting Madworld (Wii) and Street Fighter 4 (PC so I can add it to my cabinet )

I bought two Time Crisis! LOL When it first came out Amazon had it on sale, one of the benefits of being a member of cheapassgamer.com. I got both guns and games for $80 + shipping.

I'm about a third of the way through Metal Gear Solid 3 now. It was kinda rough getting (re-) used to the system, but I'm really enjoying it now. I'm saving way too often, just because the Para-Medic and Snake exchanges are hilarious. Love those mini movie reviews. "Everybody loves Godzilla!"

Played with the Wii a little bit more now that I've install homebrew channel and backup launcher channel to it. Playing Tatsunoku vs Capcom, and just finished the adventure mode on Mario Super Sluggers. After digging through my closet, I found an old Madcrats 3 in 1 arcade stick, works on PS1,PS2,Xbox and GC. So playing the Tatsunoku vs Capcom game on my old 52" tube TV feels like I'm back at the arcades. MGS3 is still my favorite game in the MGS series. Remember not to take off the tracking devices, after you escape with Eva, you will get a better cutscene.

Remember not to take off the tracking devices, after you escape with Eva, you will get a better cutscene. Uh-oh. I'm pretty sure I'm well past that point, unless there's another escape with Eva still coming up. I'm a little bit past The Fury now.

Cyrano, if you are only about a third of the way into this game, then you haven't pass that point yet. If I remember correctly, you wont have that tracking device planted inside you until you are close to the end of the game. Don't want to spoil this game for you. It's a great experience the first time through, only thing I hate about these 1 player game is that once I complete these games, there is no replay value in it for me. I've tried to replay this game, but since I know the story it's no longer fun to replay it.

Alright, I just finished MGS3! I'm still chipping away a Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Honestly it's kind of mind numbing, but I keep coming back to it. I've finished 196 of 301 missions so far. MGS3 was quite good, I really enjoyed the ending. It wouldn't be MGS without a few story-line sucker punches.
Hmm, what's next...? I think I'll take a bit of an MGS break before getting into 4. Dare I tackle Xenosaga?

Xenosaga was a little letdown for me, mechs were not that powerfull unlike in Xenogears.
Currently playing RE 5 demo. Tried the offline mode, haven't tried online mode yet. The AI for Sheva works pretty well for me.

Xenosaga was a little letdown for me, mechs were not that powerful unlike in Xenogears. Yeah, I had that same experience. I bought Episode 1 of Xenosaga back when it first came out, and I couldn't really get into it. It's been headlining my "I bought it, I guess I'd better at least finish it" pile for years now. I found Episode 2 for $5 at Blockbuster a few months ago, and I caved and bought it too. I want to like it, but in what I've played so far it just doesn't hold a candle to Xenogears. Still, I really want to give it more of a chance. That said, I'm more and more tempted to dive into MGS4... Either way, school has me too busy for the time being to play much of anything

Well I finally got a Xbox 360 and the first game I got was Halo3, finished that on the hard setting in like two days and I'm now playing a older RPG called Enchanted Arms, anyone else play this? After this I plan on getting Lost Odyssey and Last Remnant for my RPG fix until Final Fantasy arrives.

How did you get the game before the street date release? Still contemplating whether I should get this on release day or if I should wait a couple of months. Multi-platform games usually drop in price really fast, IE Grand theft Auto 4, Devil May Cry 4, Assassins Creed etc.... I want the collectors edition, comes with a hour long animated movie and a Crimson viper figure.

Currently playing Dead Space (PS3). This game creeps the living bejeebus out of me, can't play a straight 1 hour game.
The graphics are awesome, even on an SD TV, and I've got to give mad props to the sound. It really gets you especially when the alients start attacking...shudder.

Alternating between Far Cry 2 and FEAR 2. When it arrives hopefully before the end of the weekend, I'll be playing SRW:OG 2 .. er... too.

I hope it gives me just as many nightmares as the fleshless dogs from RE4. I do not like Horror movies, but I like horror games.

I just finished MGS4 earlier today, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Act 4 in particular was a wonderful nostalgia overload. I'm almost tempted to play it again right away to get more of the in-game goodies, but I think I'll hold off for a little while and tackle something else. I'm leaning towards getting Xenosaga out of the way, but I might go for Persona 3...

On PS2, just finished" The Simpsons, Hit & Run". Loved it. Get to walk, explore, drive, race, CRASH, find gags, follow funny story, and learn funny voice lines from all the various characters from the show. Not too complicated, good game play, but hilarious! Recommended.
