Just replayed and finished:
Super Castlevania IV (SNES) Castlevania: Bloodlines (Genesis) Castlevania: Dracula X (SNES) Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo (PC Engine)
Playing Dracula X made me want to try the original one for the PC Engine so I got the emulator and ROM. The original definitely is a lot better than its watered-down SNES counterpart.

After taking DOA Dimensions for a spin I decided I wanted to play DOA4 again. But this week my 360's drive decided to act like the disc was dirty (its not).
So instead I went back to trying to finally finish Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions.

I've booted up the old PS2 and I'm playing through Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy. It's nice to go back to the older games once and a while and not fret about getting trophies or wonder why my PS3 keeps disconnecting from the internet.

So instead I went back to trying to finally finish Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions. With my gargantuan backlog, I've grown so used to not paying more than $29.99 for a game that can't help but frown at its current $39.99 price point. But for a game that was made in my hometown, maybe I shouldn't be so cheap and cough up the extra $10. ;D It does look great.

Lol I'm a pay-grade below you I don't buy any games used or new over $19.99 I'm waiting for the current used marvel vs capcom to go down to that price range....hopefully when the "Ultimate" version comes out. I picked up Gundam Dynasty Warriors 2 yesterday new for a fluk price of $17.99 its pretty shallow repetitive but addictive at the same time ;D

Yeah, I picked up the Spidey game for $27.99 used somewhere. So it wasn't bad at all. The "Noir Dimension" reminds me of Arkham Asylum but you can tell what makes the Batman version stand head and shoulders above the rest - something about the game mechanics are smoother and easier to work with (and a bit more forgiving).
I like to stick with the $40 range myself unless it's something unusual coming up and would have to be a "triple-A title" or a collector's edition. I pre-ordered the collector edition of Space Marine and it was like a hundred bucks! Yikes. But of course, I'm kind of a mark for Warhammer 40k stuff and I like to collect that kind of thing.

I recently bought Renegade Ops off of PSN. Hot damn it's fun. It's gorgeous, too. Good old fashioned top down jungle/nuclear/soviet strike-esque mass destruction.
I'd recommend checking out the demo for it if you've got a 360/PS3. I believe it's also available for steam, but I don't know if they have a demo or not...

I completed Enslaved Odyssey to the West. It was good I enjoyed it. The ending was different ... Now playing Peggle again. Trying to get 100 % on every level NOT easy to do. Also playing Dark Void. I am on chapter 3 and its been good , though flight - for me is and isn't fun.
Maybe when i get through this I'll finally start Bioshock 2 or Mass Effect 2. Just haven't bothered with ME2 after all these months because games like this are so long

Playing Warhammer 40k: Space Marine. It's awesome. You have no idea how much I wish I were enjoying Space Marine on September 10th as well... because after that last post I made, I still haven't received my copy in the mail. In the time I've been waiting, I not only finished Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, but I also have nearly completed Anomaly Warzone Earth (which is awesome if you like tower-defense puzzle games - I highly recommend getting the free demo on Steam). Back to Space Marine though... they shipped it USPS Ground... I mean... really? I don't care if I got "free" shipping - that wasn't worth having my copy of the game crawling along across two countries. I never even asked for this. But at one point I got a refund for $5.75 shipping... even though for International Mail, they are actually charging $8.95... Was it free or wasn't it? There is just so much wrong with this situation it's not even funny. I guess my real question is... Is USPS Ground really what it sounds like? As in, it really won't fly anywhere? I didn't even know ground-only mail services existed in the modern world.

Finished Ocarina of Time. Only the classic quest. I'll hit the Master Quest later. Now, I'm juggling with Legend of Zelda : Spirit Tracks (DS), Bionic Commando Rearmed (PC) and Fallout New Vegas (PC).
And my already morbidly obese backlog got ever thicker with the addition of Ico & Shadow of the Colossus : The Collection (PS3) and God of War Origins Collection (PS3). SOTC makes me wish I had a 3D TV.

I've been digging into Monster Hunter Tri on the wii recently - it's damn addictive, though I can feel myself starting to burn out on the crawl for ever more difficult-to-attain loot.
I should be receiving the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus collection today, with Dark Souls coming later in the week, I don't know where I'm going to find the time for it all.

Today is 34 days since I got the original shipping notice from THQ and I finally received my copy of Space Marine Collector's Edition in the mail. Started playing it tonight for an hour or so but I'm feeling kind of under the weather so I can't push it much more than that before bed time. To answer my own questions - yes - turns out the shipping was SAL... and now I know that SAL from either the USA to Canada or from Japan (from HLJ.com) to Canada both take 5 weeks... can somebody double check my math because that doesn't make any sense at all to me. But I suppose it's a good thing it arrived today because I almost went out and got Spider-Man Edge of Time - which I later learned, kind of sucks.

From my understanding, SAL moves when there's extra space on the plane. I guess there's a comparable amount of international shipping between Canada and the US/Japan or you had some bad luck with a lot of people EMSing boxes all over the place.

I don't know the exact details, but yes, I understand SAL is the slowest of the slow by its very nature. Something about "moving when the truck is full" etc. Now I'm playing Galaxy Online 2 - one of those web-based MMO games. I know, lame. But addictive in that all you do is level up your fleets and commander characters, etc, and then send them off to battle. Or as I call it: "competitive Farmville ...in space" I also rediscovered Dawn of War 2 Retribution "The Last Stand." This was an online co-op survival-mode introduced in the Chaos Rising expansion. But because of those Games for Windows Live shenanigans, it's never worked for me. Now Retribution is on Steam multiplayer instead (GFWL sucks!), suddenly it works. Too bad my dudes are all Level 1 right now... my partners must really hate pairing up with me. When I get back home this week, I'll need to grab Arkham City...

I've got Arkham City in my PS3, but I still find myself playing Monster Hunter Tri instead. My loot addiction is strong...
