I have all the new ones pre ordered through May, and am only missing 13 of the regular numbered releases (skipping the DX Alvatore and Trans Am set)... So close to have the complete set......

Also, it's about time Robot Damashii got some love here... This is my favorite line but I've hardly seen anyone say a thing about them.. Usually for Gundam, I build the odd MG as I'm a sucker for tiny pilots, so that kind of made me pass by the Robot Spirits line but as an EVA nut, I'm really tempted to pick those releases up. I like the look of the plastic - it seems slightly more matte and better quality than the recent Revoltechs. That and being really impressed with the DBZ Figuarts has made me see Bandai in a much more favourable light recently. I've even ordered a Kamen Rider from the Figuarts line just because there's a lull in the figma / revoltech schedule for my tastes at the minute and I'm really keen to see how the Rider figures stack up. Can't wait until it arrives.

Let me just say that i like this line as well.^^ The only first set i got really tempted to buy was the Four Mechs from Gundam 00.
Before Nirvash came, those four were awesome.

Nirvash zero Dat ass shot Hooray for a Damashii finally coming with a display stand. As this only transforms to one form vs. the two of the overly-fiddly Spec2, it will hopefully be less of a pain to transform.

What's the paintwork like on this line guys? Certainly, the figuarts sister-line is beyond impressive. Absolutely spot-on. Took delivery of Cyclone Joker from Kamen Rider W and he's an intricate figure with a host of different finishes and it's slop free. An amazing job. Cyclone Joker, yesterday. The green half is much shinier in the flesh.

Picked up my first Robot Spirits figure, the Robot Spirits No. 53 Full Metal Panic Bonta-Kun, here's a quick look. Box Tray Full Metal Panic Fumoffu series opening credits. Please click to begin video playback. I've always loved the FMP Fumoffu series, more than the actual Full Metal Panic series. The lighter-hearted tone of Fumoffu was more fun to watch and had more interesting character development. Bonta-Kun! For the unfamiliar, Bonta-Kun is a mascot from a theme park set in the FMPF universe. The main hero, Sousuke Sagara, steals one of the mascot costumes and later outfits it into a high tech combat suit. Taking it one step further, Sousuke also later mass produces the Bonta-Kun suit for military use. Sousuke Sagara Fumoffu! Bonta-Kun's weapons! Hand gun Riot Stick and grenade Shotgun M-16 rifle with removable clip. Other weapons from various other Robot Spirits figures can be equipped using the extra clips included in the tray. Bonta-Kun also comes with extra faces ("closed eyes" and "frightened"), the back of each of the faces can attached with stickers to simulate a "heads-up display" for Sousuke. I opted not to apply the stickers. The sweat drop accessory is really cool, it's actually attached via magnet to a metal plate behind the "frightened" face. Bonta-Kun also appeared in the Super Robot Wars games for the Gameboy. Bonta-Kun in action from Super Robot Wars W! Full Metal Panic Fumoffu closing credits. Fumoffuu! Gold

Fumoffu!
Boonta looks pretty awesome, although I'm surprised that they went the Stickers route. It would have been pretty slick if the consoles had been painted and printed, but I guess it's a small concession.

Huargh.
Okay. So. I made the mistake of Watching Code Geass yesterday. All of it.
Now I desperately want a Robot Damashii Lancelot Albion and a Guren Seiten, and of COURSE they're all sold out everywhere.
Anyone have any idea where I might be able to find these two still for slightly under normal scalpertastic prices? I can find the Guren Flight Type easily enough, but I wants me one with wings...

Mission: Successful.
Is anyone getting the Hyper whatsit wing set for the Gurren/Lancelot? It's kind of neat looking, but being an exclusive... blech.
