Awesome! This upgrade even looks good with the transparent Sons of Cybertron Rodimus!

Good Review. If only I was willing to gamble on buying a case of these and selling them off on Ebay, I would of made enough money to buy a Henkei Wildrider. Funny how you mention that Wildrider would have to inherit Motormaster's power to receive a trailer. Imagine if Fansproject were to reuse the Nemesis Prime figure and build a all new trailer that turns the Classics Nemesis Prime into Motormaster and have those parts be transformable parts that can convert into connection ports to form Menasor. But, having one of these Shadow Scythe to sell isn't that bad, considering it pays for itself and is paying for my Protector and then some. Still, this looks amazing, but I can't help but say, as was mention by someone from another forum, I might be able to build a similar type weapon for my Protector, if I wanted to, with bionicle parts.

The sword-splitting gimmick is cool, but somehow doesn't fit Predaking. Looks more like a Monster Hunter great sword to hunt Predaking with!
EDIT: Hands and cannon look uber-cool though, might get it depending on price.

I like it, but not if it's colored like in the photoshopped pic. Needs to be gold, not orange. Also like that they added those caps to the guns to cover the way they connect to make the sword handle.

Review of the new junkion blacksmith infimity warfare weapon set:
Looks like a neat set, even though the reviewer did not explain about the build quality of the set.

Haha... at least no Ironhide and Ratchet have real heads!! Thanks for sharing, bro!

Heh... Ratchet was my very first Transformer. I think I picked him at random on a shopping trip while on a family vacation to see my aunts and uncles in Toronto. At the time the show hadn't even started yet so I had no idea how anime-innaccurate he was! I mean, I didn't know what Transformers were, not "Autobots" or "Decepticons" etc...
You know what's real funny about this add-on though? That you can still see his original "face" through his chest. Yeah, the original artwork on the box suggested that Ratchet's face was "projected" onto the wind-shield when he turned into a robot. Yes, I mean that whole front end was intended to be his head and his face was the window itself.

The kids who had Ratchet or Ironhide as their only transformers must have had a real hard time at the playground ;D
I can imagine what the other kids would say: "Really? That's A transformer? You're sure that's not a gobot?" ;D ;D ;D
BTW Gold: can the new arms integrated into the transformation?

I saw pics of that when it was a proto. It sucks. I hate everything about it. Lets hope igear makes something better for the minis.

Yeah, that's kinda lame. From what I can tell it's just a trailer, it doesn't change into armor. It looks too short and sits too far behind the cab. I don't know if everyone has heard of this yet, but FansProject is giving away 1500 repaints of TFX-05 Sidearm renamed "Blesser" to people who donate $15 or more to the Red Cross for Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief efforts. Complete details can be seen on their site. Looks like they'll be covering the shipping so go out and give and send them your proof for a free figure! Incidentally, Blesser would probably look great with Shadow Scythe. Emerje

I'd be lying if I said that this incentive wasn't a deciding factor in getting me to stop lazing around and actually get around to donating to the relief efforts (been meaning to ... just ... kept putting it off). I donated much more than the minimum - that Fansproject is doing this is a very cool gesture, and it's a pretty clever way to get people to divert money from their toy funds towards a worthwhile cause .

It does change into the Magnus armor, just click on the link. It's fan-made and really the proportions aren't that good but the fact that someone scratch built it took a huge amount of effort.

Has anyone tried putting FansProject City Commander set on a KO Classics Ultra Magnus? The prices for an official UM are crazily high on eBay and I really think I should get the KO version instead of paying $200. But I heard the armor does not fit well on it. Is it true?!

Has anyone tried putting FansProject City Commander set on a KO Classics Ultra Magnus? The prices for an official UM are crazily high on eBay and I really think I should get the KO version instead of paying $200. But I heard the armor does not fit well on it. Is it true?! A buddy of mines got one of those KO city commander sets and it just doesn't hold up well. The right shoulder doesn't clip in all that well and the right forearm tends to fall off. The shoulder missle also flops, the hole on the shoulder being bigger than the peg. Kinda like how the KO seekers, where the missle launchers just doesn't fit right. Here is a link to a video review. Your original question, you want to use a original city commander on a KO ultra Magnus? Should fit without problem as that was suggested to me last year. Last years, the second production run on the city commander, the one with new stickers, and the weapons add on set was still available at retail (took them almost a year before it was sold out) but the Classic ultra magnus was trading between 60 to 80. Still, the KO version just didn't look right and if I am to buy a $100 add on, I didn't feel like the cheap 20$ KO is worthy of this type of upgrade. Still glad I made the purchases last year when I did, seeing how crazy the prices are on these things now days. The KO stuff just isn't perfected yet, in the end, 50$ for KO city commander that doesn't function well like the real deal. Worth it?
