Friday's typically a pretty slow day here, so I'd thought I'd spice things up with something that I suspect to be pretty damned rare. Gingaizer toys are usually associated with the manufacturer Takemi (see www.robotjapan.com/Gallery/Takemi/ and www.toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/takemi/), but I came across this Gingaizer made by Bullmark! Very typical Bullmark box and flying discs. Check it out and drool!

Yeah, I saw that tasty one! Very nice. Was also watching this very rare (finally saw one) Grendizer Pla Dlx Base go for serious coin: Thought about bidding on it, but when it hit 250k without reserve met, it was like, never mind

Nice finds! I know this was never actually released but it surely had the potential to become the chunkiest, clunkiest and funkiest DX toy of all time! If only...

Well, its Friday again. Here's a cool D-17 toy. From the back of the package, I assume its some kind of baseball thingamajig. But the pic just doesn;t matcht he figure, so who knows? I really dig this bot. Here's some cool artwork for models of this character. This is the Shigcon Jet: And this is the Sub Machine:

Yeah, I was pretty surprised to see this up on YJ. I've seen a few on ebay over the years, but even in Italy these are rare. I have some pics of nicer examples - I just have to dig them out - if anyone is interested.

While searching for those pics above, I came across some cool King Kong stuff. Since its Spice-It-Up Friday, why not add a little Kong to the mix? Here's a cool classic 1970's style blacklight poster: This is a boxed set of plastic Kongs made by a company called Yokota. I don't know too much about these: And finally, here's Parachute Kong. Now if only he had one at the end of the movie, disaster could have been averted...

Cool! I was wondering if all those Italian KO's had the same accessories, based on the shots on the back. Now I really want them . Thanks for those pics. Now I'd love to get one of these MIB to complete the trifecta, but so far havent seen any in reasonable enough condition: Looks as big or bigger than the Pla Dlx. This is what a MIB looks like (only one I've seen):

I don't think I've seen that before. Nice. I do believe that there's a firing handle-type toy for this show. Its fairly common. I have to dig for the photo. In terms of the Diapolon KO accessories, they're basically stolen from Baldios by Nomura: www.robotjapan.com/Gallery/Nomura/Baldios/Bal-sty.jpg(Ed's entire set of photos of this toy are at www.robotjapan.com/Gallery/Nomura/Baldios/Baldios.asp)I've seen the Baldios copied and issued from other companies, but I don't recall if any were directly from this company. Again, I have to check my pics.

Yeah, those are very rare - I've only seen 2 junkers list and that MIB is from a private collection. Those hand firing ones are fairly common and can be pretty reasonable if your patient.
Didn't know about the Baldios connection, thanks for the links.

Friday again. Time for another one. I'm not sure if this is genuine, but based on comparison to the stickers on the real deal, it might be. Here's Jeeg toy that's mixed with a Micronauts Baron Karza. Check it out: Here's regular (reissue) boxes for comparison: Anyway, while we're on bots that were issued as magnemo type toys, here's another popular magnemo robot, but this is a vinyl. Its Baratack, but in one of his vehicle modes. The right arm drill is not genuine, although the real deal did include one.

Nice, I like that Baratak. As for the black Jeeg, I believe it is legit as I've seen a couple sell in the past 7 or 8 months for about 60k. You can check out Kim Castro's also. Since we're on the topic of Jeeg, while the Big Shooter is not all that rare (just expensive), the marine form is pretty rare. Shame it's all plastic, but I think it's cool nonetheless:

That's pretty cool - new to me. It looks all plastic, so maybe its more in line with the models, like I posted in the other thread.
In terms of the Karza Jeeg, are you sure they're not all the same one that is just not selling, or were they different sellers and pics?

Yes, I would say that Jeeg Marine is more like the Redhawk models as it is all plastic - it is, however, Magnemo to some extent. For Karza, I know the other 2 did sell in straight auctions. IIRC, at least one of the others was different from this - it was incomplete. Unfortunately the auctions are long gone and I didn't save them. Edit - here's Kim's:
