Very cool! Thanks for stepping up - I didn't have time to search for something good. So this is a combination of several smaller sets, right?

Correct, like Voltes/Combatler etc. you can purchase the individual pieces or the set. The common trotters come in 3 seperate boxes (oh, and they're magnemo, which is a nice touch). Here's a shot of mine with the boxes in behind (sorry for the x-large : You have to really like that gift set - if you see it, be prepared for multiple hundreds, possibly a grand, for it MIB, while the individuals can be had for 1-200/ea (guess you have to really want the individuals also )

Nice collection - I didn't realize you had those. I've been collecting Takara pics from ebay and YJ to create a gallery. Now I know I can just hit you up for pics.

Those are both odd. Great pics, thx for sharing . Now do you/does anyone speclate that this "Clover" is an unabashed name rip-off? It almost seems like this is not the same "Clover of Japan" ...it doesn't feature the plant symbol....that I see.

So it is pure infringing.....cool . Yes, I'll ask the question & then it will take 2 months (or years) to find an answer.

Friday! Wow, it seems to come every week! This is a Jeeg Junior Machinder KO. What I find really kool is the additional pieces that come with it, including a nice figure. If you are familiar with the Dangard Ace Big Scale Base, you will notice that they borrowed the body of the Dangard robot for this one!

Friday already? I'm going with Takara again, and Baratak in particular since he's one of my Fav's. Power Charge Baratak. Breifly talked about before, but one of the coolest (and priciest) Barataks. Battery operated with gattling gun arm, strings and gears - whats not to love!? I just have to get over the price of admission.

They had them in bulk...row upon row for 3 bucks each. I had multiples of each back then, and used to consider them jusy cheap bootlegs. Interesting they are seen as rare and desirable now.

I think that people seem to think, or at least hope, that its the same Clover that we know and love. Its nice to imagine some connection/crossover between the toy lines. Or perhaps its just that Grendy is such a popular character, or collectors are often completionists.

A couple more boots today. These are similar to the Composensei toys: Here's a smaller ST sized version:
