It looks magnificent. That particular beige is really beautiful with those grey colors. How is it in hand? Are the arm & leg joints solid? I missed out on the 1st run & I have to wait next month but hey late July is my birthday so no complaints.  |

Well, it's the same sculpt as the regular-colored dove-winged Gundam...so, I would expect this to be the same: pretty darn good.  |

Yumcha really nailed it. It's a solid piece but frankly some of the weaponry will still need supports because of the weight.

Was there ever a knockoff of the original color version? I'm hoping for a knockoff of this snow white version so I can take the weapons/accessories and put them on my original color version.

It's funny, the Zaku outshines (to me anyway) the RX-78 40th ver. in more than a few ways. I really, really hope Bandai decides to release other Zeon mobile suits or Zaku variants in this line because I will buy them. I know a commitment to buy them wont influence Bandai to produce a particular item as one person cannot completely fund their company, but dang it, I am gonna try! |

Zaku is an engineering marvel among the Metal Build/GFFMC line. While the look is simple, the engineering on all the joints and moving panels is top of the line, probably the best so far in my book, if you don't count any fancy wings or giant backpacks add-ons.   If you had enough Zaku II, there is a Char Zaku I coming. Same design and engineering, just minor cosmetic changes. No release date yet though. |
