Metal Zaku is one of Bandai's BEST offering.
Highly recommended. Bandai went extra mile on this one.
But Bandai did leave out the rachet joint feature. So no ratchet joint on his knees like RX2.
Other Couple of things i didnt like is ugly "gapey" shoulder joints , and wobbly "Unsteady feet."
SOC Tryder has really "attractive shoulder joint design. Bandai could have learned from his design but nope..
As far as his wobly stand goes, i never had a figure wobble so much just having him stand....i touch him and he rocks back and forth...

I have both colors, and love them equally. It's funny, the Zaku outshines (to me anyway) the RX-78 40th ver. in more than a few ways. I really, really hope Bandai decides to release other Zeon mobile suits or Zaku variants in this line because I will buy them. I know a commitment to buy them wont influence Bandai to produce a particular item as one person cannot completely fund their company, but dang it, I am gonna try! How so? Would you mind elaborating? I'm asking because I already have the RX-78, but held off on getting the Zakus because i already have a painted and decaled Zaku Ii Char gunpla... Thought I could skip it. But you're making me have second thoughts, if I can find one for good price. The Zakus' can get into more dynamic poses The Zaku's have an impressive ad crunch and very intuitive shoulder joints. The Gundam is still a magnificent piece, but gets hindered in having the core booster gimmick. |

Zaku I Char looking really good. Love the whole cockpit upgrade, not just the exterior. And a nice touch on the arms and the different red as well. While already have the red & green Zaku II, I am still itching to get this one. This mold is that good. View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentI am very smitten with these Zaku's and looking forward to the Zaku I. Hopefully it's not special/limited release. Keeping my fingers crossed that a Gouf and Dom are in the pipeline I think will pass on the yellow Gundam though. |

Definitely want a Zaku I. Probably wait for Bluefin or BBTS to get it, since they don't seem to have issue getting stock, and I can avoid DHL expensive shipping. |
