a real cheap move by Bandai its just a head and couple of decals why they didnt include it with MS-06S Char's Zaku II ?

The chest is completely different. It opens differently and has only one hatch. The forearms are a different mold and the leg panels don't have connectors for tubing. The backpack doesn't either. See here |

Yeah, not the same. Bandai will have to give you 2 diecast torsos to swap (if they are even swappable)...not gonna happen.

As the say chest is different and also head, and is a totally different unit (pre one year war) so no complains with this one. I hope they recycle this mold again and do Ramba Ral Gouf...

to be honest i still dont say a major change
remember back in the day when they release Gaiking in the SOC line ? it came with upgraded parts to so you could have both version in one release
they didnt do that in here lol

Just look at how many recolors/re-releases there are in the MB line with just decal or minor differences. It's been their modus operandi for quite a while. |

im not assuming anything, all what im saying its tiny changes
reissues are totally fine specially for those who missed the first round, recolors depends on the person and on the figure

Are you getting one or already have the previous Zaku II? It's really nice. Like TOTY nice. Got me to triple dip on this mold, which is a first for me, when I don't normally even buy repaints for a 2nd, let alone a 3rd. |

i will pass, i have the Zaku II it was a gift from a friend, and i agree with you its so nice and i like the scuba helmet more than this new one
thats really nice man, same here repaints are super rare for me

I am struggling with this one. I love the design so much, but why couldn't it have been a different color? I love the whole MSV and MSD concept, don't get me wrong, just on the fence. I am sure in a moment of weakness i'll pre- order this and nab the yellow RX-78.

If they can come up with a mustard RX-78, I don't see why they wouldn't exploit the Zaku I mold that is born to have repaints. Green, blue, purple, just to name 3. Even a yellow construction one, but that needs more new parts. |

Late to the game. Thought I didn't get one back then when I saw the preorders and didn't pull the trigger, thinking I didn't need one since I never really get into Wing and more of a U.C. guy. But the fateful last restock at Bluefin changed my mind and put this thing of a beauty into my hands. Didn't care for the extra weaponry it came with to add so much weight to the figure that require all the extra support arms. Just want them wings honestly. Even my wife think it is kind of pretty.
