Looks nice in the pics, but not toi sure how it will turn out in the final product. Had a very close look at the pics posted in this thread and those shown in issue 11 of hobby japan and I'm a bit concern how the silver-painted parts will affect the final outcome, hope it wont give it a more 'plastic' look or cheapens it.

I like the new silvery "brushed metal" accents. Goes well with the pearl-finished white parts (I think it's pearly - check out the head in the bottom-left pic for the reflections.
I also wish it was "original colour" but after giving it a bit of thought, I kind of like the simplified colours for this variant. When you stop and think about it, a military mecha in all primary colours is kind of silly. Bringing the palette down to just white and a bit of red just seems more... real.

It's a recolor from some art for a model kit, so it's not a complete pull out of thin air recolor.

Would anyone know of the possibility of a Fix figuration Strike Rouge from Gundam seed?

That's disappointing to know? Anyone know the reasons why? Seen the regular version, but I prefer the Rouge's unusual colour scheme.

GFFN is the same size as "regular" GFF, both are 1/144. GFF stopped at #0040, #0041 onwards are GFFN. GFF Metal Composite are larger 1/100 size except for the Psycho Gundams which are large sized but in 1/144 scale.

Thanx for the info... I guess they made it... as a exclusive. Too expensive exclusive. I really don't get the story with these exclusives. Eitherway that's the Rouge from Seed Destiny, so there's hope they'll make a regular Strike Rouge from Seed in GFFN form.

bandai makes maximum profit with exclusives. They are made to order so Bandai is guaranteed profit, plus what ever charges that are related to distribution with to other stores is negated. It does us international collectors no good but this does not concern Bandai....... apparently.

Looks more like a touch-up version to me. This should have been the first and only copy to be released. Wepons and accessories should have been painted like what we saw in the pics. But Bandai needs 2 versions to get it right or rather, earn more money.

Well, I don't know if I'm in the right thread... ...I got my first true model Gundam kit, the 1/100 ZZ gundam with the double barrel canons (laser sword is missing but I'll make a custom sword for him) and he's already built. I bought him from Zeomare's sales thread here at RJ, so I wanna thank brother Zeomare. I'm on the floor Wonderstruck at the detail of this kit. It poses AND transforms! I'll figure out the transformation later, right now I love this gundam in its humanoid robot form. As for the laser sword: I'll make him a custom sword... ...ya ever go into a local Dollar store, in the stationery section that has all the Children's school supplies, a set of paint brushes with the long translucent handles that come in green, red, blue pink, and yellow made of clear color-tinted plastic.... ....ya read my mind- I will use a clear red handle off these paintbrushes for the laser sword. I'll post pics of it when I get it made. But now I'm happy with tis kit... Now I get to see Gundams from a Gundam fan's perspective and I get to see what all the Gunpla fun is about. zozo-Magengar

If you want to see what Gunpla is TRULY all about, you need to get an unbuilt kit and put it together yourself . I find the construction is really the most interesting part of Gunpla - watching it all come together, especially with the more complex MG's with internal parts or transformation capabilities, since you get to see it all come together from the inside-out.

You're right. I oughtta get me an unbuilt kit so's I can start from Scratch! If I can build and paint MechaColles, then I should have no problem building MG Gundam kits, especially since these are much BIGGER kits than the Mechacolles. This hobby store here... www.scienceandhobby.com/news.php...I walked in there a few years ago, and saw MG kits on their shelves, ranging from $45 and up. They're a walk across the river from me... ...I'll check and see if they still sell MG kits. zozo-Magengar

Ok, Got my Gundam shots! ...... .....photos taken today 18 NOV 10. Shot in my hood at "Vampire State Plaza" (Empire State Plaza) Albany, NY...... ...I had to move quickly because it was getting dark, colder, windier, and Riskier (the State Troopers were comin). The plaza itself is spacey (spacious and wide open), and Spaced Out in its '80s architecture... so, that building in the background made a perfect prop. There are other funkedelic space-age buildings in the area; and then behind me is the Governor's mansion (hence I nicknamed the place "Vampire" State Plaza-- ---the politicians here are all a buncha Blood-sucking damn Leeches. LOL) Moving along, I took several pics- but these two were the best of the bunch. I used a vintage Intel camera model CS630-XP (shown here) ...then I exported these two pic (the original pics) to my DoGA CGA program for use as a Background image... ...while in the foreground I put together a 3D model of a Laser-sword. The laser-sword is just hanging in infinity, but it looks like it's being held in Gundam's hand. ;D As for this Gundam, it's the 1/100 ZZ-Gundam model kit which I recently bought from RJ brother Zeomare. This kit already came to Zeomare assembled and missing its original laser-swords, and he sold it to me As Is. I love it, it's the best Gundam model I ever owned even though I didn't build it. So, here's my mecha on the move! zozo-Magengar
