Ok guys..
I have a lot of SOCs, but there are some I refuse to buy. I'd like to have reviews of every SOC on CollectionDX.
If anyone wants to do a review of any of the following SOC, there will be a special place in heaven for you:
GX-01R mazinga Z
GX-05R Daikyu maru
GX-13R Dancouga
GX-04X Grendizer drill set
GX-15 eva
GX-16 eva
GX-17 eva
GX-21 eva

I can help out with some of the evas, I can start out with the two most recent ones but I probably won't get it to you until the end of next week or the week after because I'm going on a trip to SoCal tomorrow and will be gone until next Thursday.

There are plenty of lists out there, but none actually tell you about the toy, so hopefully this will be different enough when it is done! Josh: I would like to do one or all of the remaining Evangelions (15, 16, 17). Do you want separate reviews on each toy, or a combined write-up. I could do either.
Update: I'm working on GX15- everyone's least favorite Eva. I don't want to hog the fun. If someone else wants GX16, or 17 go for it. But if no one else wants them I'd love to do it.

JWM - One review for each please, but feel free to copy information between reviews, if they apply.
You guys are the best.
If anyone is doing a review, or thinking of doing one, I would ask that you take 8 pictures of the toy, including at least:
- box shot
- shot with accessories
- Head shot
- Show in a variety of poses, using the accessories.

JWM, why is this one everyone's least fave? What were the issues with it? Cedar, if I am not mistaken, the GX-15 is the EVA-02, Asuka's Production type unit. A lot of folks dislike this EVA because the quality put into it was piss-poor compared to it's predecessor, the EVA-01. The 02 suffers from inconsistent colors. Instead of the red shown in the prototype pics, the EVA02 was more of a maroon-ish color, and some parts, particularly the back are lighter than most. I've read several reviews where their 02 suffers from yellow paint smears, paint chips on the shoulder, seams on the shin area, hips being too tight, and other minor issues. |

Day-am! Wish that weren't the case. How about the blue and yellow Units? I should be getting the yellow Unit 00 on Monday hopefully...

Hmmm, I've never noticed any problems with Asuka's Eva....I guess I should re-check it.
