Some new pics from amiami.com Light-up eyes? Nice! I know next to nothing about the character, other seeing him in the first levels of Super Robot Wars W, but I love the design. I wasn't impressed by the previous, tiny version, but this one looks good, really good. I was pretty much already sold by the sculpt alone, this little gimmick just sealed the deal.

I don't think the eyes light up as its probably photoshop. However, I think it would be pretty sweet if the eyes would shine when the light hits them. And yes the sculpt is just beautiful.

yeah this ant no american power ranger with light action button lol...... while i guess it would be sweet its unecsessary and i highly doubt it does have such a feature. Wouldnt hurt to have but really its not like you can leave it on 24/7 and i would find it a pain having to click it on and off. We need some light sensors here lol

Unnecessary? It's a toy! Its very existence is unnecessary! Light-up parts can look like a cheap corny gimmick, but sometimes it gives the toy that nice little touch of awesome. The Hot Toys Iron Mark III - which, I'm aware, is not a gokin, but still - wouldn't be the same if it didn't light-up like a Christmas tree. On the gokin side of this, I just don't feel as attracted to CM's Ingrams that don't feature the shoulder gyros of the first ones. They'd still be great if they didn't have electronics, but that's one example where lighting goes past being a simple gimmick. I'll admit that simple light-up eyes are more like a gimmick than that, but still, I think they'd look sweet. I think you're right, though, it's probably just a Photoshop job. Bandai has a habit of doing that on their boxes. I'm staring at one example right now, the Dragonar SPEC (opening silhouette). But I wish they really did it. With the chogokin Drossel getting light-up eyes, I didn't think it was that far-fetched that this one might have them too.

As for play value light up things are great! Like lazer eyes, or in the case of Ingrams; chasing down the bad guys with the sirens on!

looks pretty good Whoops! Yeah, I couldn't remember if we had actually gotten an A+ Tekkaman thread yet or not, there had been so much intermingling with the SPEC thread. The Armor+ Tekkaman looks pretty neat, I have to say, though my own experiences with Ryo make me a little hesitant to pick one up. Perhaps if it gets glowing reviews I shall reconsider

Damn, this Tekkaman Blade looks really well-sculpted! I remember TRYING to watch the series- but I gave up because I could never see his face and full body outline. Now I finally see what his armor looks like! ...What's that on the right side of the pic? Does that mean you can remove his armor? ...So, That's what he looks like in the locker-room... ...Toooo-Shaaaaaay! ;D zozo-Magengar New pic and a pic of the box, looks Good!

Thanks for the link, Dead-Man! Wow, has anyone else checked it out? It's got lots of good pics showing him without his armor so you can almost see his joint assemblies. You'll also love how he compares in size to Pegaus! zozo-Magengar Damn, this Tekkaman Blade looks really well-sculpted! Woohoo! My psychic messages to Bandai have had their effect! A great part about all of this is that the price is right. It's a pleasant surprise when a robot only costs 7700 JPY with shipping included. And just this morning I received my shipment confirm from amiami for my Tekkaman Blade!
