So they aren't combiners, just random figures. My interest has plumited.
At least it's now obvious that the first three are insecticons.
Stormshred = Shrapnel Thunderbomb = Bombshell Backfire = Kickback
Too bad they don't actually look like the G1 counterparts.

Warcry and Flameblast are still worthy of buying because they will still be backwards compatible with the crossfire 2 parts. I still think these two will look good on the energon or superlink version of Bruticus. The connection port on Warcry looks to be capped off but removeable. Also, the feet pegs are still there. Flameblast still has the slot that Explorer uses for the connection port and also has the fist peg. The only thing is if these are stand alone figures, they will not come with the Bruticus add on parts, so owning Muntioner and Explorer is necessary if one wants to use those two as combiners.
Also, as stand alone figures, how much would these cost and retail for. Munitioner and Explorer came with a bunch of accessories @ 50$. I would think that these will have to be in the 35 to 40 range. Hopefully lower.

I kind of wonder how "final" those pics are, they might still remove the the posts sticking off of Warcry at least. And I'm thinking 30-40 range is probably right on.
I'm a little torn on these guys, on the one hand, I love Fansproject stuff with a passion, on the other hand, they are non combining repaints, that are homages to characters that aren't very memorable. I think it will come down to whether or not they come with one of the crazy comics that have come with all of the parallax and warbot releases so far.
The Insecticons are a must though.

Pics look good and I am really wanting this to be a good Reflector. However, I was dissappointed in the previous PE figures I got. They were not terrible, but just not up to the quality we have been getting from many other 3rd party figures. I will not be buying this one until I see a review or two.

Wow, that weapons locker shield got me a little excited. Cool that the missile pods / flash bulb can mount to his shoulders. Look good, but I'm still not sure they'll have this at a price that will make me happy.

If the previous release is any indication, this one will be 80+. Which is kinda hard to swallow. I mean, I don't have a problem spending the money, it is just compare to the other 3rd party release, 80$+ get me a lot more.

i wonder sometimes, if Fan Projects since they are awesome on making this figures, would they even dare to make a big ass metroplex or tripticon in dedication to the original ones? that would something XD.

My understanding is that the cost of developing molds is already kind of horrendous, and I would imagine that that would only become worse with larger pieces

Man that thing is cool. I'll be really impressed if they can sell it for under $500. I'm honestly expecting $100 per component x6.

Tried of them teasing us with these picture. Come on and start releasing them already. It doesn't seem like they want to release them as individual at all. At the rate that they are going, they will probably complete all 6 and do it as a set.

Wow, that is much better priced than I expected. I think I prefer the PE version just because of all its features and functionality. The other has a really nice, classics sculpt, but PE seems to have so much going for it with its accessories.

The TFC version is pretty big and will fit in better with Hasbro/Takara's figures, while the PE version does have a great classic look to it. Guess it'll come down to whoever has the best scale to price ratio.

Yeah, I'm kind of torn between the two reflectors, on the one hand, I like the scale and look of the TFC ones, on the other, the PE ones are available for preorder now. Also, I've never bought anything from TFC before.
Also, I'm guessing 40-50 per bot for Devastator, just my two cents

Also, I'm guessing 40-50 per bot for Devastator, just my two cents The official Transformers club can't even do repaints at that price. Looks like PE's version will initially be in G1 toon colors (green and purple), but I'm guessing they'll do G1 toy colors later. Emerje

I've always felt that fun pub charges what they think they can get away with for their figures, not what it actually costs them. Fansproject's Munitioner and Explorer were both sold for about 45, although I guess these guys are going to be bigger, so I probably undershot it a little.

Exactly, those two were $45 and only basic/Scout scale. It's probably better to compare them to Warbot Defender who was $80 and deluxe scale. If these "Constructicons" are truly voyager scale like many people believe them to be then they'll be around $100 each going by this pattern.
Fun Publication's prices are due to both their production costs and production runs. The costs amount from the usual factory costs plus retooling for new heads and what not (meaning new steel molds), new paint and paint stencils, as well as packaging and shipping costs. The limited run only compounds the price rather than spreads it out. Where normal figures cushion the costs through runs in the 10s of thousands, these exclusives are only have run of a few thousand. Fun Publications would lose money using a retail price structure. Plus the costs help pay for the following year's Botcon.

I sort of hope they make them in scale with FPs crossfire sets. It would go well with them, plus the smaller size would hopefully keep the price down.
