Yeah, I have been looking for this Not Reflector to be the one I go for. Looks a little larger and closer to current deluxe size. In addition, I have been disappointed with the previous PE items I have. So, I hope they do this one right.

Pics of FP Incecticons. www.fansproject.com/?p=643I like two of them. I just would not expect to pay as much for these as the bruticus add ons.

Love the molds. Look great in both bot and alt mode. I just wish that we get the pre order info so that I can budget this. These will be out around the time of botcon, and I will probably spend over a grand to attend that event.

Shrapnel should be able to retain his G1 look with the pincers on his back. If you look at the bottom left bot mode pic you can see half of the blad on his back pointing up so if you took them off the wrists you can put them back in upward on his back. Emerje

It's sad that the only TF products that I have great expectations of are not made by Takara... The Insecticon trio is pretty cool, particularly Thunderbomb, because Bombshell was the first TF I ever had.

If anyone is interested, both Flameblast and Warcry are available as pre orders right now over at BBTS and TFsource. 45$ for stand alone figures w/o the combining parts. I need to see reviews before I get these. Hopefully the insecticons won't be higherr in price.

Knight morpher Prime is Voyager size, roughly 7 to 8 inches tall. Height is equal to the classic and henkei prime and just a tad shorter than animated voyager prime. If this shockwave is the same size, it would be great. In a sense, it would be similar in size to the United/Henkei Megatron. But I am thinking that this one would be a lot bigger. Remember, only a small portion of the whole train became the robot. Majority of the train was more of a trailer. It doesn't look like this battleship separates into parts and if the ship is the same size as the whole knight morpher train, then it only make sense that it will be much bigger. Maybe will be MP size. I am loving the photoytype. The last Shockwave that I got that remotely looked or contain any of his G1 counterpart was the binaltech Shockblast.

Oops, you're right, Voyager size. My memory failed me and for some reason I thought it was being compared to the WfC Prime, but that wouldn't have even been possible at the time.
But back to the point, I don't think the bot mode will be bigger even if the alt mode is the same size as Prime with the "trailer". Where Prime folded up neatly, Shockwave here looses nearly half his ship length to the way the right arm unfolds, a great deal of it going to his shoulder with the front end hanging off his hand. He's shorter in bot mode than his alt mode is long. Between the two figures the sizes should even out to about the same in both modes.

They'll be unsuccessful with that for the most part. I can see them winning on the Masterpiece remakes, but just about everything else is based on original concepts and don't use trademarks on their packaging. FansProject, Crazy Devy, TFC (except for their SD Prime) and the like will likely not feel the effects of this, iGear has the most to lose.
Interesting that they sent this order to a retailer and not the makers themselves. Takara's copyrights are only effective within Japan anyway, for it to be enforced elsewhere would require Hasbro to step in and they've been hesitant to do so so far. Even under international law Takara would have nothing to gain by going beyond their boarders and a lot to loose ($$$) in trying to enforce this elsewhere. If anything the "support items" made by Crazy Devy and FansProject help raise sales for them, not diminish them, something I'm sure Hasbro learned themselves.

Volk racing wheels has done the same thing recently. There are a lot of KO and replica products, for thousands less. They issued a statement that if a retailer sells KO items they will not distribute with them. Looks like Takara might follow their lead. I can see the issue with blatant copy right issues, but I have no problem with accessory products like FP makes. Has/Tak refuses to make these type of products, so I am opposed to their objection.

Now that is an interesting approach. I had not thought of getting those to make the limbs symetrical. While I am happy with the Hasbro limbs, this is very cool as well.

That's kind of cool but I'm a bit confused... Is Causality just a new generic product line name for them? Or will the next figures also be combiner parts with Bruticus as well? Because the next 3 have already been revealed to be Insecticons. Hmm...
