Just confirmed from chimunmung that their release at the end of the month will come with the extra solid hands. This "Quakewave" was a really unexpected and spur of the moment purchase, but really looking forward to it!!!

Yep, got this answer from captureprey : The optional parts will be included on all production from the second run on. The figure, as boxed, will always have the clear plastic hands installed from the factory.

All right I finally put a order in for the Maketoys Green Giant at ehobbybase.com. Price wasn't bad $420 including EMS shipping. But what made me decide to take the plunge was this picture. Found it on the internet.

Gonna skip the TFC stuff they just look awkward to me. Will probably get the Mastermind Predaking but not sure about the FP Menasor. I just hope more Autobot combiners are made soon.

That picture is a little off. The Maketoys Devastator is a little bigger than the FP Bruticus. I remember side by side comparison where it is a couple of centimeters taller. I would 100% agree about staying away from TFC stuff. Sometime it isn't about scale, just that the stuff they put out are just crap and feels more like bootleg/KO stuff. It is like they use the same production company that KO Toys uses and has terrible QC. I would be lying to you if I didn't have buyers remorse after buying the TFC Devastator.

Yeah I know the sizes are a little off but I like the sculpts, I hope someone does a proper Bruticus though. The FP one is good for what it is but it really needs a ground up fresh design.

Lol you have buyers remorse? Couldnt tell. I think your description of TFC is waaaaay off. My herc is awesome and has zero issues and in no way feels or looks cheaply made. Its big, its got weight to it and is badass! Easily the best item in my collection :-)

FP could create their own Brawl, Vortex and Onslaught to complete their Crossfire set... But I doubt it's valuable. Lot's of Bruticus set owners will keep this like that and focus on new products.

Got my Quakewave today and I do have to say this thing is totally awesome! I got the second run with the added parts. I was really impressed by the weight of it and the build quality is tops. Go buy one right now.

Glad you like it, it's a very solid piece and a excellent first entry for Fan Toys.
