Perfect Effect has really been killing it of late. I can't wait to see their finished Leonidas/Lio Convoy figure.

True. Since Warden, PE is on my top list for collecting TF figures. I will sell a kidney to have an opportunity to work with them. Btw, this Leo Convoy is presenting interesting mecha lines and shapes for a mecha-animal (I still considering Beast Wars as the worse TF designs. Thanks to Prime serie to give a fresh look)...

Always hard to have a good view of white toys. Imo, I prefer light grey variations + little touch of white. That things is HUGE !

And not a perfect transformation to boot! I can't believe they can't design a perfect transformation at that size.

3rd party products are just kicking so much ass right now with engineering and quality. We as fans and customers are in such a great era.

he is not meant to be scaled with the 3rd party figures like Predaking he was meant to be longside masterpieces they showed him along side MP starscream and he looked about right as he did in the cartoon. however i am shocked about the transformation usually not perfect transformation means partswapping how much is there on this figure? chris

Four parts are needed to parts form, the backpack, the back plate on which the backpack attaches to, and the air intake pair. All parts can be stored in both modes. It seems the designer had anime accuracy in both modes in mind and did not focus on fun transformation sequences.

Wow, they are just retooling MP Sideswipe. Takaratomy should of looked into this. Similar to what Igear was doing to the Seeker Mold in creating the cone heads.

Uh, it's ... interesting. Clever I suppose. If nothing else, it would have to be a more playable figure than the original MP Rodimus who's a nightmare to fiddle with. His head seems super tiny and pinheaded though. I wonder if this is an actual figure and not just a custom, though.

(I moved the post here, I thought it was add-on) MP Rodimus is a nightmare to align panel and shape in alt mode ! This (unofficial or custom) MP should be a bit reduced on waist to give a bit dynamic on torso (car hood). Keeping shell to minimum details with "straight edges" politic, gives the G1 cartoon fever. I am not sure it transforms and looks more like a custom piece. If it does, shapes in both modes are well respected ! But it deserves to get a factory process to be mass producted, I mean 2000 ex produced (minimum).
Same with this MP Hotrod : I like the size and the fact it stick to other car scale. It looks like a "teen Hotrod".

Looks pretty awesome. I am more interested in Hot Rot over Rodimus Prime.

Looks pretty awesome. I am more interested in Hot Rot over Rodimus Prime. Same with me. I gave it some colors : s4.postimg.org/ijznlup59/MP_Hotrod.jpgMP line is very interesting to collect : official release are coming slowly and car scaled item are not expensive + 3rd Party release give more choices and give a unique and original statement for a collection (these are limited items). ... G1 fever is on !
