No just for now, I'm sure they will go back but after Star Saber we just don't know who's next.

Omnigonix's spinout and Badcube's Brawny both look really promising. I love the fact that the love for MP style carbots is going to continue even if Takara Tomy moves away from them after Bee and Wheeljack. is it because theyre being replicated by some KO companies??? TT took the designer who created the MP Carbots (up through Wheeljack and Bumblebee) off of the MP design team and passed the reigns back to the guy who designed MP-01 and the other "large" Masterpieces. They did this before any of the 3rd party companies started seriously taking on MP style designs. EDIT: I misread. You're specificially referring to the fact that the actual MP toys are being KO'd. That's a toughie. I guess going to larger, fancier and more complicated figures with higher manufacturing control could certainly make it harder to bootleg their designs, but then again in recent history KO companies have shown that they're quite adept at replicating even the most complex figures (like the Live Action movie Leader Optimus designs, which they've done near perfect replications of). I can't imagine it's a driving decision behind moving away from smaller, more affordable MP figures.

I was reading on another site that Takara is looking at MP Wheeljack for a refit into Sunstreaker. What do you guys think?

I was reading on another site that Takara is looking at MP Wheeljack for a refit into Sunstreaker. What do you guys think? The transformation is somewhat similar so the technical part is mostly done. It would be re-tooling the parts so it's a Lamborghini which will be expensive, I don't want a yellow Wheeljack.

I took a gamble on Deca Toys Kronos from BBTS and he arrived yesterday! I was really worried about this figure as I have seen a few reviews that totally bashed it and a few that gave it praise. When I opened it and took it out of the box I was really impressed with the weight of the figure. Aside from the parts forming, which I can live with and a few small paint issues, I have a perfect figure. Everything transforms as it was ment to with no issues. Some loose elbows, but tightened the screws a bit and seems to have fixed it.

I'm okay with Brawn and Outback being delayed to October. Better a delay and done right than rushed and wrong (assuming that's why it's delayed). Also, with MP Wheeljack and Maketoys Computron coming out this month my budget is being hammered as it is!
That Wheelie looks neat but the deadpan face kills it for me. If ever a toy needed a stupid grin, it would be Wheelie.

Hm, interesting note about the cancellation of the rubberized coating on the tires. It was a neat effect on Unique Toys Salmoore, but I won't miss it if these guys don't have it. Looking forward to adding them to my MP collection in October
