Did I just read BBTS' description correctly: diecast parts in these toys?!?? Preordered. FML. Yup. You could see it in some of their prototype photos: The knee brace and the lower crotch are both diecast bits. The arms, although they are also a similar gray color, are just gray plastic. There might be a few other metal support bits on the interior for stability.

Some details from Omnigonix : The rumor says TakaraTomy will release a sunstreaker... Omnigonix is still on production and won't stop. Nice !

Well, if they release it soon enough it will not matter if TT does release one. This looks close to finished where we have heard nothing from TT beyond MP-24

What do you guys think about non-MP Mirage from Dx9toys :: IMO, regarding the works bring by Badcube, Omnigonix, X-Transbot and Fanstoys, this one is too simple to stick to MP line. Car mode has to stick to a real licence/model in term of props, detail... Robot mode is nice but fade out versus the "competitors". I got Badcube bundle coming to my mail with X-Transbot Wheelie, will give you my impressions asap I can unbox them

I think DX9 has a nice MP size TF, but for the retail of an official Masterpiece Transformer, I think I will be patient and wait it out for Takara to make an official one. As far as I know they are still planning to do the original G1 Autobots. But then again, if the production shots look good I may just pull the trigger. lol

That Mirage looks okay but it doesn't look complex enough to be a MP figure. It takes more then just up-sizing a Transformer to be a MP, MP's should have a certain level of engineering to fit in.

Speaking of - the engineering on that Brawn looks pretty fantastic. I hope the final model is tightened up enough to be solid; if nothing else it looks like the engineering and transformation will certainly be up to MP snuff.

That Brawn does look good but ultimately I'm gonna wait to see. All the mini bots IMHO have to scale more with Bumblebee then Prime so depending how this scales in real life to MP Bumblebee is the real deciding factor for me.

Judging from the comparison photos of both Brawny and MP Bee with MP10, Bee is going to end up being a little smaller than both Brawn and Outback on an MP shelf.
