Looks good; it's got me itching to get my first Macross piece since getting the DX Monster. Hopefully it goes on sale somewhere down the line and/or the USDJPY improves.

What?! between all 3 modes, the cockpit is accessible?! Holy smokes - Yamato couldn't even accomplish that for a VF-1 at 1/48 scale and this is the smaller 1/60 scale. Yikes. We come a long way, in toy design, haven't we? I do wonder though if this was by design when Kawamori created the VF-19, that he knew some day he'd need a design that was feasible as a toy (not that the VF-1 wasn't, but I mean, even according to official VF-1 line-art, the legs are parts-swapping, showing that panels swing down the legs and they lock into place after the torso of the Battloid is formed). That is, when it came time to do new mecha, somebody must have reminded the production team, "you know, maybe some day someone will want to make a feasible toy of this stuff..."

I want it...but the price is just outside of my range at the moment.
The Sound Boosters are coming in October for an MSRP of 8,500 yen.
