Yeah, I read about the SRC GX-58 Grendizer but I'd really love to get a Spazer for Revoltech 085 because I already have Bandai's GX-04S and other kits and these kits cost a lot to get in my country Egypt! That's why I want a Revoltech Spazer...its price could be afforded  |

I had mine also about last october, i paid arround US$ 35.00 more or less.
chachipower, where did you buy your big grendizer? and for how much?
I love that one, are the saucers included with that one? Can you post the saucer with it?

That's why I want a Revoltech Spazer...its price could be afforded Well, then you won't mind knowing that there is no SRC GX-58. There is an SOC GX-58, but it has nothing to do with Grendizer. The SOC GX-58 is supposed to be the Space Battleship Andromeda.  I'm almost positive that Bandai will eventually release a Super Robot Chogokin UFO Robot Grendizer, and maybe an updated Soul of Chogokin one as well. However, it seems that there is not enough interest in Japan at this time for Bandai to take on the Grendizer character. We all know that Bandai could care less about the rest of the world when it comes to their SOC and SRC releases - they only go on japanese market interest.  However, keep the dream alive!!! ;D }D |

NR-41 means NEO REVOLTECH 041.
Its when Assemble borg + YAMAGUCHI + Fist of the Northstar + Fraulein and SFX revoltech turned into a combined brands called NEO which releases 2 of diffferent sub category each month.(sometimes more)
The Neo debuted last June which features a uniform sized box and an orange prize coin. . .that can be exchanged in Japan. :/
I just realized that NR01 is Jarknoid assemble borg.

That last picture reminded me why I put away my Revo Grendizer - those shoulder joints are ridiculous and hiddeous at the same time! To this day I still don't understand why Kaiyodo did that...

To this day I still don't understand why Kaiyodo did that... }\ I think to give the shoulders more articulation. If you look at Mazinkaiser's shoulders, they don't move a lot...very limited! At the same time, because of how Grendizer and the Mazins shoulders look like, they cannot attach it to a big revolver as Shin Getter1 or Convoy. It's the only explanation I can think of. |

I have to disagree there. The shoulders in the Getter Robo 1 & Black Getter would have worked perfectly for Grendizer. Those shoulders do not have an actual Revoltech joint, they are basically a joint themselves. I wouldn't mind a little sacrifice in articulation in order for the figure to look better. Those crazy Grendizer "collar bone" shoulder joints have to be the most unsightly way to provide articulation to the figure. I'm sure they could have done a better job, as they have done with prior and subsequent figures...

Haha, I saw the used Popy Spacer on Ebay and immediately a light came on in my head. It may not be as nice and accurate as the Bandai SOC or Metaltech 01+, but if you think about it, the Revoltech Grendizer is everything but anime accurate. I think they look well together and yes, Kaiyodo should come up with something similar. }D |

If Kaiyodo were to do a re-work on Grendy, with all
his Spazers and accessories,
They'd have to get rid of that mean Hunchback design
so that the Spazer accessories can attach to his body
to look at least as faithful as Grendy's anime source.
