It's just me or the head of GM is kind of small compared with Mazinger's head? See the shake-hands picture.
That issue also was with the SOC version: GX-02(R) head was more little than GX-01(R) although the robot itself is taller and beefier.

But I think we are very close to de DE-FI-NI-TI-VE version of this characters:
- Just find a solution for the head in flight mode (as for exemple they have done with GX-44 Tetsujin). - Turn these SRC figures into 8 inches tall and full of diecast SOC figures. - With that poseabilty. - Add a nice display stand, strong enough to support full diecast figures...
... and nobody will be able to resist or pass.

I mean display stand to support the figures in flint mode like the ones we see in the pictures with this SRC figures.
Not the standard SOC display stand which serves only to store the accesories and display the figure just standing.

GX-04 Grandizer head solution for flight mode also was awesome.
By the way... No SOC "R" version or SRC version for Grendy??

I think the head sizes between those Mazingers may seem like an ilusion, by the camera angle there. The hands look mighty huge in some of them pics.

Great Mazinger looks great, to bad he doesn't have the Scrander compact mode in the set.
As for the figures been tiny im ok with it, im mean this line was made to be more accessible for anyone to get in contrast to the SoC, plus not to mention it help in space issues in your collection cabinets. So if anyone is worrying to much about if they don't have enough diecast or are to small or both, just wait till Bandia makes this figures as well on the SoC line, it is bound to happen in one point or another.
I mean look how many versions of the figures are there from Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, tetsujin 28 and so on.

Why am I expecting an add-on kit part 2 with the Great Booster folded scramble dash jet pilder and iron cutters sometime soon? (I'm thinking that I'd probably come out alongside a normal mazinkaiser or grendy)

Grendizer gets mentioned alot by people, but Bandai is just.. i don't know... why not make a remake of the SOC version or even announce an SRC version of him?

I'm ok with the size of the SRC figures... ...I missed out on the chogokin days because I was too young to have a clue about this hobby and the Japanese robot toys at the time, except seeing them in storefront shop windows on display... ...This line will fill that void for me, plus they're a step up in Sculpt and Detail, compared to the little chogokin classics.

Yep. Styrofoam bases are a dime a dozen, and you can always custom-make your own and build from it. I'd probably end up rubbin mine all over our cat's face until it's all gone. ;D zozo-Magengar

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Calm down, bro! ;D Maybe he was trying to sound cool by pronouncing it in Japanese as "Majinga Zett". I'll bet he pronounces Boba Fett as "Bubba Jet", too. ;D Very nice review, though. zozo-Magengar If that dude calls Mazinger "Majinga Jet" one more time, I will hunt him down!!!
