I haven't had the time to open my parcel yet, but when as soon as you open the box does MP-09 come in vehicle form or robot form?

My MP-09 has all the defects that the video reviews mentioned : , the hand is unable to hold the gun , paint chip when connecting the vehicle mode into the trailor , the black plastic piece on the leg broke off & the spring of the leg is going to pop out. I wonder how is Hasbro going to resolve all this problem?

Chen, I've seen pictures of it next to MP grimlock and igear prime. Taller than MP Grimlock and makes igear prime look short. He is way taller, so scale wise, it is not good. He is around half an inch to one inch taller than the seekers, depending on the mode you have him in.

Just got mine today. This would have been a fantastic piece if not for the various QC issues as other Rjers have mentioned here. It took me a while to master the transformation as well as the precarious balancing of this figure, but in all I'm happy with what I got.
And Space Winnebago mode? In the dumpster you go!

Finally got mine in yesterday. I must have been lucky, no broken parts and I have been able to transform him to Hot Rod and back with nothing breaking. I would recommend watching pugh's video if you do try to transform yours. Couple of good hints and I would have never gotten the legs right without it.
I will probably keep him in bot mode at least until the Hasbro version comes out. I am hoping they fix a few issues and I will use that one as play version and this one as the display only.
He is a little taller than I would have liked, but I will keep the legs in the shorter position and that will help keep him from sticking out. Not noticeably bad by Grimlock, but pretty bad next to PP01. However, I have always thought PP01 needed to be just a little bit bigger- especially when compared to the seekers.

No base with mine, seems like the China version had some extras. So, maybe it came with that version. However, I was thinking that the next base was going to come with the Last MP Prime.

Despite being a huge chunk of plastic, it has all the basic functionality that it requires i.e winnebago mode, parts/weapons storage & battle station mode. When put together with Rodimus it's huge & take a fair amount of space but they're both real nice as display piece.    & last but not least...MP Rodimus kneeling down in shame for the grief he caused to legion of disappointed fans...  |

I wholely agree that both of them rock as a display piece, but I still cannot overcome my disappointment about Winnebago combination. I'm referring to how Winnebago front is just a Winnebago shell covering a Winnebago Rodimus. It would have been more Winnebago-win in my book if the vehicle fully transformed into Winnebago car instead, that would be so Winnebago-cool! |

It's been a week; I still haven't opened Masterpiece Rodimus. Far too many negative comments and discouraging youtube video reviews make me wonder why I pre-ordered in the first place.
Do you want to know what the sad part is? I really like this sculpt and for that matter both Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime. I'll keep it sealed until some clever fan figures out how to fix most of the mechanical problems.

just open it and display as hot rod, wait until hasbro release buy 2 and display him as rodimus and rodimus alt mode..

You blew 200 bucks on this, just open up and enjoy it! True, there are QC issues with this piece, but you're already prepared for it! Transformation is a little tricky, but once I got used to it it's a really fun piece to transform and pose. Except for Space Winnebago mode, I try to shut that out of my mind. |
