It is as unnecessary as all the other comments based on personal preferences, with the exception that I called it what it was a simple kiddie japanese cartoon characters post. These are no more important than Pokemon, Spiderman, Pucca, or Dexter's Lab. I can play the 4 year old kid game just as well, even more so when I come across someone pushing his/her opinion so forcefully. I am joining the game. I'll quit when all opinions are called just that instead of calling them the real thing.

I think you both are stubborn followers of the super robot you like most. I dont think the two of you need to continue to reply the same thing again. It looks silly when one says he likes mazinkaiser better and the other one says grendizer is better and reverse over and over.

The show teaches the youth how to love animals, the meaning of sacrifices and fighting for the right case. It's free from these erotic scenes also that are not correct to show to the young. If this is gonna annoy anyone -as it's starting to annoy me to keep rounding in circles- then, it's better to stop the 'attempts' of taking the King of Space to a lower level as long as I am not going to take even Boss Borot to a lower level. |

Also, the lucky ones who attended this year's Anime Fes. VS in Japan will not only receive a special illustrated ticket for Mazinkaizer SKL, but will also receive limited edition postcards of all versions of Mazin Kaiser (SKL - OVA - SRW). |

I really hope the make a regular Mazinkaiser not SKL SOC. It is only proper that the most powerful mecha in Go Nagai's world gets the Soul of Chogokin treatment. How can there be any question of this... see minute 1:41 of the video below.

Wow, this thread is totally funny. I like the fanatical allegiance you boys have to your robots, it is hilarious. I think you should get a little more upset over it, seriously. I mean talking about Grendizer like that is like spitting in your mother's face. I personally would have to make your head explode using my underdeveloped psychic ability.
I really love the hate for SKL too. IT IS GOING TO KICK YOUR ASSES.
I love Grendizer, but SKL and Getter Ark are the future, plus they look incredibly brutal their stories and artwork are for adults and not children, It's nice to have your favorite characters grow up along side you.
Grendy needs a redux, his design is way dated.

anyway i would love a Mazinkaiser SoC or SRC, but for now the max factory version of kaiser looks nice and it goes well with the SoC because it almost looks like one, the aoshima kaiser is also good but i prefer the one that is chrome like SoC although i don't like the black kaiser scrander that it has =/.

The polls depend on where you do them. Like right now I can get you at least two that will have Mazinger Z winning, even over Great Mazinger and Mazinkaiser. I think in one of them they refer to Grendizer as "Grenburger"!

i Don't Have a Mazinkaiser .. the SRC SKL mazinkaiser gonna be my first, cant wait for it to be released in December, but no doubt there will be a SOC one "Normal one not SKL" .. but i'm surprised to this day they havn't made a SOC of Mazinkaiser
Hoping Bandai will milk us With Mazinkaiser Products once The SKL ova is out as they did to Shin Mazinger "Which i stopped watching half way *episode12* .. as it was somewhat boring but yet exciting at times and i've lost interest to carry on
as for the Mazinkaiser vs Dizer thing.. doesnt Really matter to me since i love both and Wishing Bandai do more Products of Both which they lack
The Grendy vs Mazinkaiser is just like Pepsi vs Coke .. you can't convince The Pepsi ppl Cola is better and vice versa

Another poll is on Facebook (a public page for Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Grendizer, God Mazinger, Mazinkaiser and Mazinkaizer SKL) = All of the Mazinger canon mechas (isn't Energer Z considered to be included now since it appeared in the new Mazinger series?) Maxfactory noticed how passionate the fans are for Bandai's SOC; so, I am pretty sure they did their best and paid a lot to own the rights 'n create Mazinkaiser. As you can see, they tried to make it as much as close to the SOC products.
