while waiting for the SOC Mazinkaiser the Super Robot Chogokin SKL does it for me momentarly till Bandai decides to make the SOC kaiser I don't have anything against SKL, it's cool, but I can't compare it or relate it to the original Mazinkaiser! Perhaps, Nagai will link it to Kabuto's world in the future somehow... but they still gimme different tastes. As for Grendizer, there should be a SRC one, although I don't think I will buy it since I have the SOC and already ordered Revoltech + I have a resin kit Dizer. I wish Revoltech makes a Spazer as an add-on to 085. |

if you do the custom mazinkaiser then you must hear my demands do them. - the work process of the customization, take a lot of pics! - give him the jewel on the chest with the Z symbol. - give him the Kaiser Scrander - all the kaiser Blades - the pilder can be altered to the mazinkaiser promo version to fit better if it is a necessity. i will not accept no less than that. lol ;D ;D |

Then,  the fans will do the job...in high resolution! I was just re-watching Mazinkaiser's OVAs. Sigh, really would love to see a continuation for the series where Grendizer appears in a lil' bit restyled modern form! |

I would too. However, what they did with Mazinkaiser taking over Mazinger Z's and Great Mazinger's enemies is a lot better than what would've happened if they stuck with Mazinkaiser's real origins. We all know that Mazinkaiser is actually Mazinger Z transformed (evolved) by Getta Rays, and that would've sucked hard... it would've been the end of Mazinger Z forever!!!
So, I have no complaints with what they did...

they where different concepts on Mazinkaisers background story for that time, before the official ova was release and after the promo. - One time the real enemy for Kaiser was suppose to be the alien from the GMvsGR and GMvsGRG movies that it would have taken place after Grendizer left earth, they even made it in a manga adaptation of it. I consider this one to be the best for the reasons it puts all kaiser, shin getter and grendizer in one universe although grendizer is not in the manga but the marine and Double Spazer does there debut making it a canon thing.  Uploaded with ImageShack.us- The other one as you said is Mazinger Z evolving but there 2 versions in this one, saturation of raw Photon Energy to Mazinger Z in theory by Juzo Kabuto and Kenzo Kabuto( which accordingly is the day the accident occurred) and the other one of the Getter team using Shin Getter combining the Getter Rays with Photon Energy into Mazinger Z. there is a third one but it included Photon Energy, Getter rays and Grendizers Photo Quantum Reactor for 2 things, evolved Mazinger Z into kaiser or awaken Mazinkaiser from the depths of the photon power lab basement #7 seal in a hangar by Juzo himself. in all sense Kaiser has different background story altering his aspects, so any could work. i don't mind if Mazinger Z evolves into Kaiser because for me it would have still be Z instead of what the Ova gave us, Kaiser destroy Mazinger Z and we never see or hear about him anymore. the Ova is not my favorite because it also give us to many questions without been answer (like Juzo been alive). I would prefer if they just redo the series, let mazinger Z and great Mazinger have there battles and give kaiser a new enemy to face. |

Yeah, true. But them beasties were still no challenge for Mazinkaiser. Actually the only two battlebeasts which gave Kaiser a hard time were Hell King Gorgon (Ashura-converted), and Ankoku Dai Shogun; but even those two got da sh*t smacked outta them. Back in the OVA series, Koji was still learning how to control the Mazinkaiser. Even back Then, as clumsy as he was, none of the enemy robots stood any chance of surviving the beat-down. Mazinger-Z put up a damn good fight throughout his entire series. He had his share of dammages to his armor, but he was worth the military investment against the invading kikaijus. Great Mazinger, as cool as I thought he was, turned out to be a joke- always gettin busted up or having a limb torn off... imagine Japan goin into national debt every time Great Maz needed repairs and replacement parts! LOL! At times, Tetsuya just had no balls. I also think that if he had been affected by his origin, the same way that Koji had been affected by His origin, Tetsuya would've turned out to be a damn good passionate robot pilot. Koji's grandpa was killed by the enemy... that was a Personal affect on Koji; and having inherited the mighty weapon Mazinger-Z fromhis grandpa added more passion to Koji's mission. Mazinger-Z was like a Big-Brother Soulmate to him. Where as Tetsuya was merely assigned a robot to him for his mission... he has no bloodline in the Kabuto family. His only relation to this whole thing is that he was an orphan adopted and raised and trained by Koji's father. Mazinger-Z and Mazinkaiser stand out from the pack so significantly, because the same ballsy pilot (Koji) operated both of those robots- so it was a given that there would be some gutsy battles. This particular consistency of keeping the same pilot for two seasons of Mazinger robots was what made the Mazinger saga so special; and it hasn't been repeated again in any other robot anime since then. zozo-Magengar I wanna see Mazinkaiser take on more powerful enemies.
