 I despise WiFi with a Vengeance... tried the torrent download, and my download speed is really slow inspite of so many seeders and leechers. I'm trying now the megaupload download and my speed there is about an average 75kb per second. Too slow, and my netbook randomly shuts off at any given moment without warning... if that happens, I gotta shut it off and re-insert the battery (although fully-charged) and reboot... ...then Megaupload won't let me resume the download and state that I've reached my download limit for the day. I'll keep trying, nonetheless until I eventually get it downloaded. I despise WiFi!  Another thing I could try is to use my Firefox Flashgot downloader and grab the three Episode1 parts from Youtube... ...then open them in Format Factory to splice them together and place the .ass subtitle file into the same folder where the movie gets saved. Then I'll rename the files (avi, and subtitles) with matching filenames so the subs will appear when I play the movie back in my media player. zz-mag

Before Go Nagai's visit to Kuwait & Egypt, he visited Jordan! In this Jordanian video www.ikbis.com/ikbis/shot/230577 [@ min. 11] he informs the reporter that after Mazinkaizer SKL he will consider working on remakes of Great Mazinger and UFO Robo Grendizer because he wants to apply the updated techniques of making anime with such well-known works! I hope he brings us a better Shin UFO Robo Grendizer than Shin Mazinger Z or I'll... If the current old Dizer is the baddest@$$ of the Mazinger canon, what would be the Shin Dizer like? Hmmm... 'n Getter fans  beware of the Shin Space Thunder too! |

my only concern is that how much of a change Grendizer will receive, will it go like the same concept of Shin Mazinger Z or be a stand alone series like New Getter Robo.
well Grendizer does not need a Shin Space thunder since he has one that they could use from the manga, the famous Dizer Tera Max.

My humble guess: Nagai will resume Shin Mazinger Z first, by making Shin Great Mazinger. Then, maybe we'll see an independent UFO Robo Grendizer series after that (the entire thing would be a parallel remake of the original trilogy) but with a modified storyline and perhaps some new characters. I'd love to see a more mysterious, dark-sided, emotionally-tortured and violent-to-the enemy Duke Fleed character. |

The most powerful super robot in the Mazinger canon got his anime aired in 1995, and that is UFO Robo Grendizer. Your Mazin Kaiser is just another Mazin machine; an earth-made robot that is no match to the advanced alien mecha that saved your entire planet! I really feel so sorry for those minds who think that there is a stronger Mazin than UFO Robo Grendizer End of discussion. |

Sorry man, but Grendizer is way weaker and slower than Shin Getter (which can cut planets in half with its Tomahawk), but I will give you that Grendizer's alloy is a lot stronger than Shin Getter's (which really does not matter as the Shin Getter's armor regenerates). Now, everyone knows, and you have even witnessed it, that Mazinkaiser is infinitely powerfull, completely indestructible Super Robot. That comes with a price of being the slowest of them all, but then again, why avoid an attack if it can't even scratch its paint.
Don't get angry at the dude there, he is just expressing his point of view - which so happens to be the absolute truth.

Ah, Shin Getter, Purple Getter, Taiwan Getter, Pharaoh Getter, WTF Getter... huh, yawwwn! I feel sleepy. I already said what I had to say about King Grendizer & the Getters and I won't repeat myself now. After all, this is a Mazinger canon thread, where the comparison goes for the Mazin/Dizer thingy! A Getter break please? As for the dude, kindly, stay away from it...it's between me and him and I do not want him to contact me directly by anyway! Perhaps you forgot he insulted you and me for no reason before, but I do not accept insults from anyone. |

Possibly Kenzo saved Tetsuya after the incident in Bardos Island and revived him as a half machine, sort of like what happened to Koji in the mangas since Shin Mazinger z has some elements that came from the mangas so it might not be a surprise they use that concept.

Oh man, don't take the medication stuff seriously, is just a generic saying. I am 99.999999% sure there will be no Shin Great Mazinger, since Shin Mazinger was such a flop. A new Grendizer series has more chances of being made than Great Mazinger. However, if by some miracle there is a Shin Great Mazinger ever released, Tetsuya will be there. Tsurugi means "Blade" in english, and none of the characters EVER remained dead in Shin Mazinger - with the exception of Juzo Kabuto - which came back as a little man with a plug tail...
Only time will tell!

Tsurugi means "Blade" in English }D thanks so much for this info! It's the key to the confirmation that he'll be there  I wonder did they start working on that yet...cuz Nagai seemed so determined on remaking the trilogy with new anime techs in that video! I hope they knew what were the flops with Shin Mazinger Z and give us a good Shin Great Mazinger and Grendizer later. |
