I've been looking for the scans as well. Even bough some from Amiami, but they turned out to be for some sort of card game or something. Man, can you please post the pictures of the ones you found? What's wrong with the Grendizer card??? The set I purchased turned out to be geared towards Shin Mazinger, which I don't care for too much...

Wow! That's way to low for Grendizer!!! In armor alone it should be at least up to Mazinkaizer SKL level. How about Great Mazinger and Getta Robo G? How many points did they get???
But now you understand my stance on this power levels these companies assign to the Super Robots. They just go with popularity regardless of what the anime portrayed. That's why I never ever take Super Robots' power or size stats from them seriously... just like I told you from the get go.

Now, I have to say "Long live, Hasbro!" they give you specific and accurate robot stats (ie. Transformers).. Bandai has just made themselves a new enemy: All Dizer Fans around the world! If they do not know how to treat a king, his troopers will teach 'em how. However, I guess I will go for High Dream products from now on (after I get my 2nd SRC Mazin weapon set). I still can't believe they committed such bullsh*t! Haven't they at least watched the 2000 Mazinkaiser teaser to learn where Grendizer stands? <dugh!>BTW: here are other cards I've found... I shall post any new ones I find!  Note here that they gave SKL 646 pts instead of 726 as in vol.1  The same thing goes with the characters.    |

Go Nagai has never stated which robot is more powerful. Is companies that have absolutely nothing to do with the actual anime story that come up with this info. From the Mazinger Bible down to these cards, other than the mechas' names, everything is made up by them.
But I guess that if people want to call it "official information", then these cards have to be considered just as official as well...

To be fair, for them to make the cards and give them stats they need to consult the creator of the character to see if its ok from his perspective point of view. If not then they are going to repeat the same mistake like one of the Gundam cards.

I think once they own the rights to the characters, they can do pretty much whatever they want with them. Since Bandai is one of the biggest companies with toys, videos, TV, etc, that applies twice to the stuff they own.

Hmmm that sucks, fortunately I don't put any stock in things like these. But that stat is pretty low, maybe they view Grendizer as a combo deal so when you add the Marine Spazer or whatever to Grendizer's you get his "full" power which seems more in-line of what Grendizer should be considered.

Could be...but...still unsatisfying for the Dizer unit itself!;D Maybe they didn't want to create a monster? well you forgot to add the pilots, from my understanding they can also give some boost to there machines. so if that would be the case Grendizer[414]+Spazer[222]+ Duke Fleed[212]=848 pts Grendizer[414]+Drill Spazer[302]+ Duke Fleed[212]=928 im not sure if its possible to add a second pilot for the reason Maria give [112] and since the Drill spazer could be use to attach to Grendizer, so can it carry 2 pilots at a time? |
