Oh, this toymaker company which doesn't even know the actual heights of super robots. The same one that listed Gundam as a superior to Mazinkaiser. Huh! Note: only today I became sure that Grendizer from the 70's isn't the one of 00's that we see in this photo. I wonder, since he was featured with Shin Getter Robo and Mazinkaiser, and since Duke Fleed is always the Mazinger/Getter pilot team leader... what would be the power stats of this new Grendizer? LOL! Someone is reading the lines of truth?

After all, seems like Go Nagai agrees with Bandai's decisions all the time. I would say that it is the same Grendizer from the Super Robot Army versus Ankoku Daishogun video. You know, the one that just stood there next to Shin Grendizer going like "oh crap!" after the big fire dude comes out. Yeah, Grendizer and Shin Getter were very happy to see Mazinkaiser show up to their rescue.

My following questions aren't Maz Canon related, but they're Go Nagai questions: The Mazingers, Getters, and Grendizer, all had OAV movies made for them after their usual TV series, starting back in '73ish with the first Mazinger movie (MZ vs Devilman) and then so forth. ( You gotta hand it to Boss Borot for his persistence and staying power through some of those OAVs! ...lol) Not including the Gattaiger movie, and the UFO Documentary movie, there were six actual Super-robot OAV movies made. But, the Grendizer series was broadcast in October '75. And so was Steel Jeeg, and he's also a Go Nagai super-robot. Daiku Maryu Gaiking is another one of Nagai's super-robots, and his show was broadcast in April '76. .....okay, now that we have all the above information, I come to the Go Nagai questions: Why weren't any OAV movies made for Steel Jeeg? ( Not the 2007 Koutetsu Shin Jeeg) Why weren't any OAV movies made for Daiku Maryu Gaiking? ( Not 2005 "The Legend Of Daiku Maryu" Gaiking) Lemme guess why: TOEI. schmbluuuuuuuuuugh ...am I right? zozo-mag

No, you know seriously I do not and will never call Bandai an official sh*t for those wipe-ass paper. I simply give my middle finger to those game cards created by some ignorant person at their office. No need to repost them, really, a cheap cheap cheap thing to even talk about or rely on.

I understand your frustration with Bandai, but as long as Nagai's company continues to allow Bandai, or any other, to call the shots on his creations (for money), there is nothing that can be done. It is pretty much the official stats right now. Bandai decided that Grendizer was behind the new heroes in all aspects, even Gundam... and they decided to use the Shin Mazinger as the official Mazinger. I do not like it, but it is what it is. }|

Has Grendizer ever launched its Shoulder Boomerangs when docked with the Spazer / Double Spazer / Marine Spazer in the anime (both TV and movies)? yes he have... and those cards have to do nothing with being official !! they are bandai fantasy and gonagai only approves the illustrations and the overall blance of the game ! and this even is done by one of his staff not by him directly. in many accasions and meetings with gonagai it was clear that the dude didn't make up his mind yet who should be more powerfull grendizer or mazinkaiser!! in some cases he clearly said grendizer might be and in other cases he said mazinkaiser is the most powerfull mazinger !! in most accasions he simply runs from answering this question although it would be plain easy for him to just say that mazinkaiser is the moste poerfull and end this debate once and for all but he never did i think that is why in superrobotwars games they never apear together in the same game !! because it is not confirmed !!

Tjey are official and Nagai approved. But what I don't get is the insult. I thought you were a little angry and disappointed by the Bandai official cards, but from that to actually being insulted for real is a long way. This is all fantasy anyway, from the characters to their specs, it does not exist in real life, only in ink and paint. . We have our own opinions, but unless we buy the rights to the characters, they don't really account for much to anyone but ourselves. }D Has Grendizer ever launched its Shoulder Boomerangs when docked with the Spazer / Double Spazer / Marine Spazer in the anime (both TV and movies)? yes he have... and those cards have to do nothing with being official !! they are bandai fantasy and gonagai only approves the illustrations and the overall blance of the game ! and this even is done by one of his staff not by him directly. in many accasions and meetings with gonagai it was clear that the dude didn't make up his mind yet who should be more powerfull grendizer or mazinkaiser!! in some cases he clearly said grendizer might be and in other cases he said mazinkaiser is the most powerfull mazinger !! in most accasions he simply runs from answering this question although it would be plain easy for him to just say that mazinkaiser is the moste poerfull and end this debate once and for all but he never did i think that is why in superrobotwars games they never apear together in the same game !! because it is not confirmed !!

" chogokinabdul" Bro, those Bandai playcards are just toilet paper tissues with some super robot illustrations on 'em! Now, you know what are their usage. LOL! Not official super robot stats for sure (just some silly fun game that came out to $ell). Great Mazinger is a stronger mecha than Grendizer? Gundam is stronger machine than Mazinkaiser? Mazinkaiser is stronger SR than UFO Robo Grendizer? Ha! Ha! Ha! A "ha!" for each joke with a twist of bullsh*t. End of story.

Maybe folks should send the Nagai corporatoon some letters telling them how they feel. For what I've read, they don't care much anout what is done to their creatoons if the money is right. But like I said, Bandai got Nagai approval for those cards, and everything else they do with the Nagai characters. As far as Gundam and Super Robots cards, I don't think they sre supposed to be used together, but I have no idea how that card thing goes. Maybe they can be used together and Bandai decided thay Gundam is the strongest. If they did, well, they own it... Not a whole lot I can personally do, other tgan not purchase the cards. }D

They are not official! They are just for a game that bandai designed at those power points means alot for the card game but nothing in reality!
And banpresto didn't put both grendizer and mazinkaiser in one game because go nagai didn't made up his mind about who is stronger , simple and flat!

Dude, they are official. You can say otherwise, but you are not the license holder for these characters - Bandai is. Even more so, if they are in a Bandai game, they can soon be in a Bandai/Banpresto video Game, or a Bandai OVA or series. Bandai has the rights, and Bandai calls the shots. Everything else put out by others (not Bandai/Nagai) is just noise. Why is this so difficult to grasp is my question? I already know Bandai favored the Ishikawa Mazinger Z design over the Toei from the 1972 series, and while that sucked huge, I accepted it - but did not get insulted in my soul for it.
And again, there is no "reality" in these characters. They are cartoons and toys.

I agree with tmz that these are officially sanctioned by go nagai for Bandai. they are a card game and Bandai makes it for almost every anime even dragonball. they are just like in the banpresto super robot wars games that every robot has their armor power and hit points, but instead of playing it on a television you play it by hand. And yes in this card game for these robots Bandai made mazinkaiser the strongest of all. I don't know how much permission Bandai received from go nagai to make that call, but it is on the cards. It is probably because they know Japanese people like mazinkaiser more these days than any other of the old robots, and they want to please their customers.
Tmz, the people from the middle east love grendizer very much and they find it insulting that he has been left behind and forgotten by Bandai. that is why they do not acknowledge these informations on the cards even if they are a true Bandai game.
