Have to say the black repaint looks quite appealing to me.
Btw, why did the yf-29 isamu appear in? Dont remember seeing it in any anime or movie.

Bandai decided to addapt on DX line also the vf appearance from the last Namco video games.

EDIT : Head is interesting :  This is the DX Chogokin YF-29 Durandal Ozma Type from Macross Last Frontier   Anyone did play on that video game ? If they lengthened the tail shield like the game, I'd get one. Nice colors though - matte black aircraft ftw.

I hate repaints...but, I can't stay away either. Gah.
The dark-gray/gunmetal color scheme with the red and yellow highlights really make this Valk stand out...Checked on Nippon-Yassan and no preorders yet.

As did I. Wouldn't worry too much though as the most recent bandai releases are available after the release date. Look at the RVF-25, VF-25A, Super VF-27 etc.

VF-27 was a real game turner. The current prices in Japan and a lot of online shops, is so much cheaper than the pre-order and initial inflated prices. I am hopong the Ozma YF-29 follows the same thread. It's insane that the Pre-orders are snapped up in Ami, HS and NY within seconds, and even in Japan the pre-orders are at inflated prices of 19-21k now.

Scratch that. Preorders opened up again on NY and I was able to snag one at $179. Opted for SAL shipping though to offset if I would have gotten for the initial preorder with FedEx shipping.

Son of a b****, I just paid the preorder...
Tey said their supplier canceled this product.
Now, where can I get this holy grail ?!

They did not cancel it. At least that's what they sent me in their email state below. I can wait as long as they can fulfill my orders. With the crazy price now, NY's inflated price is cheap. So I will wait.

Concurrently, the macrossworld forums is down. I guess many people have received the same email and are fuming mad now, blasting in the forums.
I think Nippon Yasan is now probably buying whatever they need from the secondary market to fulfill all their paid orders. Chances are they have to sell this item at a loss to maintain their reputation and trustworthiness.

I also know that NY is in the visor of european Tamashii team :
I got some talks with them during 2013 Japan Expo,
and they are very angry about NY, they are flooding european market with their offers...
Hope this first delay is not a first move from Bandai.
In France, Bandai already stopped all shops trying to sell imported figures
like Myth Cloth, SOC... Thenb they proposed the Bandai Collector shop
which was a total failure and closed after 2 years.

Bandai Europe is angry with NY for flooding? You mean with cheap offers?
I thought bandai doesn't care as long as their sales go up
