NY price can not be beaten by Europe Tamashii (under the management of Cosmic Group, Italy and France). The result is that Tamashii can't propose a web offer or retailer ressources for European shops. The guy from Tamashii told me that they really can't compete on DX Chogokin. NY is almost close to amiami prices on 1st preorder call. If Tamashii has to sell in Europe, it can be the same price, mostly because of VAT.

Ok now I understand. However won't AmiAmi, Hobby Search and HLJ be in the hate list as well? I am sure their web order prices are much lower than what Bandai Europe can offer.
I guess VAT and tax is the main culprit here. it's almost impossible to stop anyone from buying outside of europe especially since the prices are much cheaper.
it is the same case here in Asia. a lot of us buy direct from online stores in Japan because they are cheaper and faster than what we get locally. there are only a few instances that we buy from the local stores, only because shipping of big items is very expensive.

That's why beeing independant with a regular shop can work these days, unless your selection is top and original... Web business kills old business. The worst case is about library shop... Amazon runs the market...
Btw, hope NY will have good news soon.

Spoke to NY this morning. The customer service assured me that they will fulfill all the paid orders. However they have no stock now and will only get stock next week, which they will then send out. hope that is true. keeping fingers crossed.

I got the delay email as well. Some good news though. A lot of the forum members on Macrossworld who got the same email are slowly but surely receiving "shipped" emails. I'm assuming they're acquiring stock and shipping out as they get them.

Yup, i just got the "shipped" email today as well. So i presume the rest of the stock should be coming in gradually.

Thanks for the heads up Yumcha. The price isn't too bad but I'm just waiting for NY to fulfill my preorder. Paid $199 shipped via SAL. I'm in no rush to get this since I pretty much know what to expect having the previous YF-29's. Come to think of it, all these Macross toys are just recolors/new heads but having the same body. But Bandai knows we'll buy em regardless. c",)

Given how that's happening, you'd think Bandai would release higher quantities? SoC and SRC are easily had but DX Chogokin? Feels like fighting for some weird bargain at a Black Friday sale at a Walmart...horrid.

No rush since the price I am getting from NY is much cheaper than the current escalating price.

do u think super part is necessary for this valks to make it more spectacular or u all prefer without super part?

Although i ordered the yf-29 super parts, I am starting to skip certain accessories such as the tornado parts for the vf-25 valks, just too many of them. These modern valks already looked good on their own.
