We should try and do a group buy and see if we can get a deal on things like that!

Looking good! The Urkel ankle syndrome is gone from the Battloid mode. Wonder if it will be back heavy, tho.

Preorders for the DX YF-29 are officially closed at AmiAmi, HLJ, and HobbySearch. Good luck finding it for any cheaper before the restock.

Bandai went all out. I'm impressed.

That does look good but I can still see some members over at Macrossworld still complaining and bashing Bandai. Probably about the pilot and how it's still not super detailed or they'll complain about weak joints or paint chips or whatever. Oh well I'm glad I pre-ordered mine.

A (finally!) working A stance and beautiful color scheme, this has definitely piqued my interest. I have yet to own a MF DX gokin, but if the reviews impress me enough I'll be sure to pick one up.

Fine by me - I have no interest in the add-on packs.

It's really looking awesome. I'm glad I got a pre-order in. Gerwalk looks pretty bad though. It's like they didn't even try to make things fold up at all. Just a plane with legs, but I don't really car. Fighter mode looks just nuts. I wish they'd do one with a skull squadron paint scheme

Okay I've decided to keep my pre-order on this. I was gonna skip it to get MP Rodimus because I want to get the new MP Prime and have them be the same size but this thing look way to cool to pass up.

I can't wait to get mine. I'm really hoping that Bandai might take a pass at making a vf-25 2.0 based on all the improvements they are making with each release. Anyone think that's probable?

Possible? Maybe. They'd have to do a lot of retooling TO the retooling. Probable? No.
Think of it this way - Bandai wanted to re-do the VF-25, but having sold a million of them to people already, chances are only the diehard, obsessive fans would buy a revised version. Instead, they made a brand new valkyrie: the VF-29, gave it a spotlight in the movie, and used that platform to make a 2.0 version. This way they have a brand new valk (so people are less likely to say "ehhhh. I've already got one and it's good enough, even though it isn't perfect."), it revitalizes interest in the line ("Oh man, that new valk in the movie was so awesome! And there's a toy of it!"), and they have carte blanche to go wild with upgrades and redesigns.

That makes a lot of sense. So is there going to be an armored version of the vf-29? I haven't seen the movies. But from what you're saying it'd make sense for Bandai to make a strike version, elintseeker version, etc.
