Thanks guys, but for the moment it's just a 3D render, but it could be cool to do one like that one day.

Thanks a lot Trevor.
Well, I'm not really planning on selling any of it as it's just an idea for the moment and it's not even sure that I will do one for me. I'm looking at this for the moment but don't have a resonnable solution for now.
I just wanted to get a good idea of how it can look and wanted to share it and get some feedback.
Thanks again.

Thanks a lot guy. Doublas is also one of my favorite vilain, that's why I've try this. I'm looking at different options to try to do at least one like that but it's not easy for the wallet Maybe a smaller version, but even that seems hard.

Thanks a lot guys.
Well, regarding the timing to do that, I've spend a lot of time working on the model to do the mini vilain so once I had this let's say that I've work a few hours here and there, something like 8 hours to do the final commercial. I could have spend a bit more to fine tune the integrations in the shot with the parents and the shot after but in a way I kind of like the crappy look of it.
Thanks again, always fun to spend time doing this, it's a bit part of the hobby for me.

Not to hijack an old thread, but gonna anyway ;D As Mike was using 3D files for printing and thought it would be good to keep some things together and not start a separate and most likely short lived thread. Some cool and interesting things to come I believe in another year. I thought about a plastic thermal printer, but want better performance than those can offer and not so much tinkering and playing around with to get better resolution. Here is Junior's Indigogo campaign. I think many have given up on him for updates and actually producing www.indiegogo.com/veloso3dprinterThis looks interesting and promising. Not sure on what the pricing will end up at www.miicraft.com/This current funded campaign does look like a winner for readiness and a go The developer is already stating that he is going to open source everything once the campaign bought units are all shipped with an estimation for late August. I think this unit could come down in price later on and even hopefully in the sub 2000 price. The inventor seems to favor the 50 micron resolution and is designed for a 3 or 4" square foot print currently. Am hoping and looking for a footprint more around 8" x 5" foot print for being able to print jumbo body parts. www.chemshapes.com/ has been interesting, but slow coming along for an open source UV 3D printer. I believe, a year from now, UV printers are going to be at a good price for the hobbyist and the thermal printers are going to start looking like antique units. Time to start the look for 3D software and get good at that. I have only used autocad for 2D drawing so far.
