btw it has been announce that the new shmonster-arts is Kiryu base from the TSOS movie. this figure will be know as " MFS-3 Type 3 Kiryu Mechagodzilla (2003)".  
MFS-3 Type 3 Kiryu Mechagodzilla (2003)price estimation is around $117 so ill go and say $120. release date November 2014. |

Another Kiryu? Why? There's still plenty of other monsters to go through. King Cesar, Baragon, Titanosaurus, Anguirus, Megalon, Jet Jaguar ... etc.

I said Kiryu not MechaGodzilla. If it was a Showa MechaG I wouldn't be opposed to it. It'd be a different MechaG. As it is we just got a version of Kiryu back in fall 2013. This new one has a drill hand, and slightly redesigned weapons pack. Should be an add on pack, con or web exclusive. Waste of a full release.

This new Kiryu is a Tamashii exclusive which means it has no effect on the main releases.

Waste of a full release. actually, it would have been impossible to use the previews figure since this figure is base on the TSOS movie, that version has weather effect on him as well the color of his metal is different than what he use to be which is a cleaner version look. GxMG(2002) /GMMGTSOS(2003)   This new Kiryu is a Tamashii exclusive which means it has no effect on the main releases. and another reason why i really don't see the need for this guy to be a web exclusive. I think Bagan or Super Godzilla would have been the better options for web exclusive than just...well... a recolor with minor add on changes. |

Web Exclusive probably means nothing for us folks in US, since Blue Fin will release them as regulars here, like Biollante and Mothra. I like the new version deco better, so I might consider it. (Kind of pricey for what it is still...)

I would rather they issue different monsters but hey it is what it is and more power to you since it's what you want. not really, the coloring of both figures also is different. you have to remember there been painted correspondingly how they been shown in there respective movies.  as for the more power to me because thats what i want, not really. i want to see Mecha King Ghidorah done first so the Heisei era to be completed as well BioGoji and Goji85. but yes, is nice to see Kiryu been done in his 2003 version so now his out of the way. |
