Well no news recently on monsterarts. everybody probably knows that the Poster Color Godzilla (orange) is a BluRay/Amazon Japan exclusive  I want one of those - its not a necessary figure , I just want it. Pre orders are up for G2000 Special Color, Mecha King Ghidora and Gamera. Kiryu 3 heavy weapons vers. is now shipping most everywhere. I got mine yesterday - I can't open it till Christmas day. Also the Beam/building effect sets are out and shipping. Mine are on the way. I want Gamera the most. MKG is cool and its going to be huge, however I think i will have more fun with Gamera. Displaying Gamera with the Impact Magma base and Red Flame effects is going to look cool. |

Ordered Spitfire Godzilla -Blue Spine / blue flame effect. Others have suggested adding LEDs internally I think that is good idea.

Have just picked up a few members of this line and I am loving them. Especially the MechaG's and Moguera. Has Bandai ever given any indication of why they seem so disinterested in doing any Showa era figs? I mean the line just begs for a first generation potbellied MechaGodzilla with raindow lightning eyes. Or how about a Mecha Kong? (and how can they not want an Ebirah!)

This past week i received the MKG and G2000 special color ver. They are great. I am glad to see that there's a new Ghidorah coming out. I know others aren't happy about another repaint but I missed it the first go around. This time I wont pass it up.

Rumor is the next SHMA out might be a new release of King Ghidorah. The beams will be different colors this time. KG may be a repaint, although there are some mentions that it might be a Showa era Ghidorah, or that a Showa era version might be planned for later.

BBTS has King Ghidorah pre-orders up. $139 appears to be US list price. It looks like they are using the same description copy as the original release, so it's hard to tell what if anything has changed? It's listed as a recolor, but hard to tell what that means in this case?

Yay! Just got my Amazon blowout sail Mecha King Ghidorah! ($126 Woot!) It's gorgeous. (The Dorits... not so much. Back in the box with you three!)
Sadly I fear what the lack of any appearance of the line at Tamashii Nations portends.

Great pictures. KG Special Color looks great. I just got it the yesterday but haven't had a chance to open the box. I missed the first release. From the video reviews that I've seen this is much improved over original release.
I need more display cases LOL.
