Would you say there is a chance to see the Astray Red Frame in the metal build or metal composite series? I always find the most obscure design of a series to really like. Ok, Freedom will look impressive since the backpack will be solid (which worries me slightly), but it's yet another white Gundam with blue splashes and the traditional head (plus fins).

Which means i'm nowhere near a metal build or (metal composite?) Astray Red Frame. Certainly not before mid 2013.

Fantastic engineering there Bandai, hopefully those gimmicks aren't too fragile. Finally, they added side to side movement on the waist.

Haha, this really does confirm that T-rex put their touch on this. It has all the aesthetics and engineering of a Riobot.

thanks.. your unparalleled enthusiasm in every toy you review makes me want mine sooner. I missed the Japanese pre-orders so I had to go with BBTS.
any plans to go HD with your reviews? say 720p.

Thank you for the support. The HD camera will have to wait a little bit longer. Too many toys to buy and not enough money to go around. Hope to really get a decent HD camera soon. =)

Thank you for the review Charles. Bandai did a much better job on the destiny than the freedom gundam and so far the reports I've read so far have been very positive about the quality control. I'm glad Bandai hired the designer of the riobot gurren lagann to work on the destiny gundam because the design and engineering looks amazing!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for a Metal Build Strike Freedom Gundam. Bandai knows the fans want it.
