Its time to resurrect the dead! Ed recently pointed out that these links on the website were all dead. I just finished repairing them, and the directory can be found here (under the resources tab / fun zone): robot-japan.com/resources/fun-zone/46-fun-zone/fun-zone/102-collectors-corner.htmlSince membership changes over the years, I thought it might be fun to reopen this up again. There are a lot of high volume posters on this forum that joined after this was conducted, or some from before that did not participate. If interested, hit me up and I will give the details. Thanks.

Ha! Ed beat me to it. I did find out that they could be reached through google searches, but not from the main page as you mentioned.
I didn't even realize we had a thread on this. That being said, I hope to see more great tidbits about some of our veterans past and present. Great job Myles!

I often go back to reading those articles, as motivation to drive me through this hobby. This thread and that section oughtta get stickied. zozo-mag

Yeah, its been a while since I read them. When I have some free time, I'll peruse them again. Mine is pretty outdated now, but I guess we need to just view this as a snapshot. Too much trouble to keep updating for each member.

LOL.... thanks, Mo! My only regret is having shipped most of my collection to Puerto Rico (they're stashed at my mom's house in storage) a few years ago when I was planning to move there, but that plan failed... otherwise I would have included some really good pics of my collection for the interview. That's okay, though, because I still have some figures here at home with me and I can post more pics in the Toy Vault Gallery thread as I organize my new display setup since I recently moved and now settled into my new place. It's been over a month since I moved, and I'm happy to say that my home is SMOKE-FREE (my roommates and I smoke, but our landlord doesn't allow smoking inside the house, so we smoke outside on the back porch). I've gotten used to Not smoking inside my room while I hangout online and such... my room has been smoke-free, my figures look clean and happy, my computer and laptop no longer has any smoke residue and fewer dust-bunnies, and most of all the air in my room smells fresh that I can host visitors to see my collection once more! Back on topic.......... Now that we have more new members, it would be nice to get the RJ Spotlight thing going again so's we can get to know all our new friends and their collection traits. zozo-mag

love this idea of spotlighting member. very interesting read. maybe this belongs in the toy vault gallery section. I think the thread is still here, buried lots of pages back in this forum. Try a search or scroll back several pages of threads. Not sure if it was ever stickied? All the info/pics/interviews/stories accumulated are archived on the main www.Robot-Japan.com website, but it seems the link to steer people over there is very hard to see or remember, and so they keep thinking the forums page is all there is. Most of the good stuff is archived and added to in the main site.

Thanks, all. I've sent out a few questionnaires to some members. I meant to send another out, but forgot. I will get on it now. I am also working on a very special interview - a different format with one of our members. It will be fun and a great read.

I like the questioner format but it may be more personal/telling to have a more casual convo with follow up questions depending.
