Look forward to see preorders for the Athena Cloth. It will probably be my final purchase of my whole Myth collection. Have been waiting for this one for a long time, and didn't jump onto the EX line. So this will be it for me...finally.

Athena Cloth is awesome... unfortunately for me, I stepped into the EX line... So it's still a long way for me. I have a feeling after the release of the remaining Gold Saints as well as Bronze (revived Cloth) they'll re-do the others... EX has been so far wonderful.. but the prices just keeps getting higher and higher...

anubis20, I actually have most of the previous Myth Cloth line  Being a SS fan I was prepared to go through the depths of hell from Bandai... They do have a certain value to it, like Gemini Saga comes with the evil pope Ares. Which is pretty neat that the EX doesn't have. (most likely coming out as an exclusive in the future) And yes, I agree with you. The Myth Cloth female saints scale well with the EX line. So even if Bandai ever comes around doing a EX of them, I will pass on those. I don't think Athena Cloth could be display as seen in the series. I have a feeling she will be white or have a naked body. There is always the other Myth Cloth Athena figure Saori Kido to go for that. |

According to wiki rumor next one is Taurus. I have the original and it,s a monster.
But I really like this one with all his weapons and shields.
Can,t wait till amazon to carry this.

Taurus is next? Anything can happen, with only 2 more Gold Saints left.... Bandai might leave 'disciple' and 'master' last and follow with an effect part. Hopefully Aldebaran come with the same size we see with his Myth Cloth counterpart. Trying to revive this dead thread... Come on, it's Saint Seiya! Who's excited about next month's release of EX Gemini Saga Saga Premium Set? Looks like it will be 3 boxes in one. People who missed the previous EX Gemini Saga can also be glad to get the reissue, no effect parts, but cheaper than the inflated price out there. Source:  There is also Aquarius Camus (Surplice) and the rip off (IMO) of the broken cloths (Surplice) set for Saga, Shura, & Camus. Looking forward to Camus, last of the three in Surplice Cloth! I guess not as much interest in Saint Seiya on this board coz they're not robots. Personally I never thought about collecting the figures, even though I am somewhat familiar with the anime from childhood. Also, because I wanted the 5 main Bronze Myth Cloth characters and they've gotten pretty expensive in 2nd market. Recently Bandai announced Revival versions of Pegasus Seiya, Andromeda Shun, and Phoenix Ikki, so I ordered them. I'm assuming Dragon Shiryu and Cygnus Hyoga are in the near future. My goal is just to get the core 5 guys because the line is scary extensive and a deep, deep hole. If anyone know the differences between the Revival and the older releases, please enlighten me.

I collect the Myth cloth ex Line (started late to collect and most of the myth cloth line were too expensive in the aftermarket). They are pretty awesome... as a fan I get every new character they release (I'm not into repaint or the souls of gold characters though). Never shared it here because as you say there's not much interested around here.
I would say go and get the new release... the bronze cloths from chapter sanctuary are the most beautiful I think.
There's not much difference. The face sculpt is new, also there may be minor changes in the way armor attaches but nothing else.

In some Facebook groups, people have compared the official photos between the old version and the renewal version. But if you really want to know, you have to wait for the actual releases. Honestly, they should be the same.
I have bought both Myth Cloth and Myth Cloth EX. I personally think the articulation is much, much better in EX. I actually want to stop buying Myth Cloth. So I am not buying these 5 renewal figures. However, some other figures may only be released in Myth Cloth...so I cannot stop.
