Dig those Hades God Cloth! Hmm..just as I thought. Hades & Seiya figure itself is the main attention for fans. Many retailer sold out this figure, same day as Bandai announce this collections. I still remember, first time, when I collect EX line. This figure is really damn hard to get at decent price. LOL So many cut order and inflated price at that time.

If anyone still needs the EX Poseidon (regular version), let me know. I have an extra pre-ordered from a US seller.

I pre ordered seiya overture at bbts. Really love the design and the facesculpt is great. Probably I won't keep it because I collect only EX but I'll buy just in case I want it later and before it price goes up. If not I think I can make a few bucks selling it here in Argentina if I decide to do so (figures are getting really expensive for me due to inflation and it's a way of helping me collect). I'm really excited about kraken Isaac EX. I hope they keep giving us the Poseidon generals (krishna would be great)

There is a large distributor for South American region for this line (DAMS, I'm I correct?)
About price inflation, u are absolutely correct bocasas. Myth Cloth, especially their EX line has constant increase price from time to time. At first, I purchase SCM EX for only 6,500 Yen, six or seven years ago. Now, it reach 8,000 Yen and even more.
I guess, Bandai strategy to release some of their EX figure under P-Bandai label, only worsening myth cloth popularity. Many fans end up collecting, and retired, because they can't afford P-Bandai stuff.

P-Bandai America was working for a few months, but it did not have Saint Seiya figures. However, a lot of Dragon Ball S.H.Figuarts are actually p-bandai items in Asia. But Bandai gives them wide releases in America. So why makes it difficult for Saint Seiya fans to get their toys???

Well, sometimes I feel Bandai strategy in north America is rather strange. Perhaps in their (Bandai executive) opinion Saint Seiya is way less popular than Dragon Ball? or S.H. Figuarts is far more competitive with Hasbro or Mattel in terms of pricing and they decide to pour all DB figure there?
After couple of years collecting figure, there is one conclusion I had in mind. Purchasing Bandai figure, whether is Gundam, Cloth Myth, or else at decent price (same with Japan price tags) is difficult. Many friends of mine, even give up collecting and find another hobby.

Yes, p-Bandai stuffs (except Dragon Ball SHF) are the most difficult for us living outside of Asia. Some Japanese websites sell p-Bandai Saint Seiya figures at a good price. You just need to have patience and don't overpay for the fastest shipping.

The problem is argentinian peso, last month it was 21=1usd and now it is 27=1usd. Collecting has become more expensive (there hasn't been any rise in the salaries). We don't have any official distribution thank to customs (they have an arrangement with the argentinian toy association and they delay anything labeled as toys months or even years. Bandai official distribution here started about year and a half and they give up announcing things and are a year behind with the PO, recently they released loki myth cloth). I think saint seiya is not popular in the US. In argentina the only way to get things is by importing oneself and pray it doesn't get lost or steal in customs (it happens a lot and tax is over 50% here) or by smuggling through some one (it's what store does here and what I do). Now lets talk about SS. Anyone has Poseidon EX PO? Luckily got it from HLJ. I've seen the first pics and it looks great!

How about Saint Cloth Myth popularity on North America? Were they even knew about this series or not? Most of US toys forum I attended usually discussed about Transformer or Dragon Ball figure.

Judging by lack of English language reviews of these figures on Youtube, I'd say Saint Seiya is not well known amongst the US collectors.

Not at all. Among collector friends and game/entertainment developer circle I know in US California, there are plenty that collect figures, SOC, Hot Toys, figmas, Figuarts, Playarts, Revoltechs, TFs, Kamen Riders, Gundams, Dragonball stuff...but just not Myths. Its a very niche category, and only one Asian friend I know collects Myth. ADV didn't even finish releasing the TV series on DVD before they folded, and came out 10 years too late. So the series never get much traction here. Given what it is and how simple the storyline goes, I doubted newer generation anime lovers would look up this show. It works for older folks like myself that grew up with it, and had fond memories of the characters and Cloth designs.

Seriously, I'm shock with the fact in your country. What u mean with tax is over 50%? is it that high? So, if we purchase 100 dollars figure in Japan, then we have to pay 150 dollars (for tax and custom) in Argentine?
How about lost package? is there any insurance that could cover that?

For me in the US, the customs is pretty good. There is no additional VAT and things always arrive (at least so far).

Yes, that's right. 50usd extra for a 100usd figure. Insurance may work only with EMS. But I know people who got things stole from inside their package and received an empty box or even a box with something inside just to simulate weight...really hope some day I could send my toys legally without praying. Saint seiya never made a name in the US so I guess most of the figures sold over there are for latin american customers where saint seiya is really popular.

Among the 10 or so collectors I know, a few of them have heard of Saint Seiya, but none of them have ever seen 1 episode of the anime.
