This looks more interesting than God Sigma. For me, GS is a rip-off of God Mars, even down to the name (replacing Mars with Sigma). The transformation is quite unique and sets it apart. Your WAY off! HAHAA do you think these Robots just came out in the order Bandai made them? GODSIGMA ran from 1980-81 and GODMARS ran from 81-82 so if anything GODMARS took the idea from GODSIGMA!! But thats childish thinking anyhow, combining robots such as these both existed before 1980 anyways. Godsigma is 3 robots and Godmars is 6,for me they bear that much resemblance anyways besides height of the toy and robots that form legs. And Chen IM EXCITED!!!! Any Super Robot made during 70s or early to mid eighties excites me!!!

God Sigma is released earlier than God Mars, so it should be the other way around. Plus God Sigma has more weapon arsenal compared to God Mars who only has that big sword.

Hopefully Daioja is just as tall as God Mars and God Sigma.

I don't think it will be as large as God Sigma or Godmars, there was a picture of Daioja near Daltanius and God Sigma and while it is still a prototype and the angle of the picture throws perspective outta whack you could tell it was smaller. It might be as tall as Daitarn/Daltanius but I'm pretty sure it'll be smaller than God Sigma just to keep costs down, Bandai must know that fans can't keep spending $2-300 per figure every few months or there gonna price themselves outta the hobby, there not "boutique" toys like the Fewture stuff but a consistent toy line with a long history now.

If I remember correctly, isn't Daltanius around 10.5" tall? And God Mars/God Sigma are 11+" tall? If so, I'm pretty content if Daioja turns out close to Daltanius size. As long as he isn't as small as Voltes V or Daimos, I'm a happy camper.

Yeah I guess those two really aren't that small lol. I have to say though that I'm pretty excited to see this figure, much more so than Daltanius and God Sigma. Those two I find interesting as designs and love how their large heavy figures but Daioja is more my taste style-wise. I'm just hoping the price isn't too much of a killer and I PRAY that next SOC after Daioja will be a much smaller/cheaper figure like Shin Getter or Mazinkaiser.

Looks good. It seems that Daioja has a tank mode & a plane mode just like Daitarn 3.

UGGH I hope not!! all we need is another Shin getter, theres more getters now than mazingers!! All I own is the original Getter and Im happy! What we need is a Daikengo,Mechander Robo in diecast,or some other obscure 70s/80s Super robots non gundam looking types not done in diecast yet. I mean seriously{nothing against you Chen}but how many getters does anyone really need? And I love Mazinger as much as the next guy but DAMN,so much of that money and work used by Bandai to make all those different or repaint Mazingers, they could have put out a few great villains for Mazinger or any of the Go Nagai beasts. We arent exactly lacking in the Mazinkaiser's either.Having the Max or Aoshima is fine, even if SOC did one,how much could it really differ? Also No villains for these robots really urks me!We need some badly,Ive never seen a line of toys/action figures that doesnt include just as many or more villains for the heroes!!Think about it! BTW I welcome Daioja!!!

Hehe, "backpack" looks heavy, maybe because he brought along his spare pants and shoes Methinks Bandai will make that part removeable.

Personally I would love to see a SOC version of these because I know Bandai would do something different to separate them from what came out before plus I was more thinking or just hoping Bandai would release a single "standard" figure that doesn't transform or combine but was just your basic good ole' fashioned diecast figure like they used to make.

I do see what ya mean Chen.It would have been great if Bandai did MK first, then the others may not have been released at all.I think they were out of necessity{Mazinkaisers}Now I feel Bandai thinks,oh well they are already out in comparable form so why bother. BTW Tryder is on top of my wants list too.

We can use an old-school non-transforming Mazinger gokin from bandai that shoots strong missile punches! An SOC Shin Getter and Mazinkaiser with heavy diecast will be the most welcomed! There is no such things called overdosage of Mazinger and Getters for some of us. Bring it on, Bandai!
