I end up caved in and bought the Alto Armor & Fast Pack while I can, and hoping to score a VF-25F Alto Renewal in a reissue sometime down the road. Would be nice to have Ozma's too, but I already got the chunky Ver.1 with Armor. Just opened it a few days ago actually (in closet for almost 3 years), and its not half bad. Knowing all the flaws from my chunky Alto, I am not gonna transform my chunky Armored Ozma much to avoid loose joints with all that weight, and currently in battroid mode on the stand striking a pose. Unless you place a Renewal or model kit right next to it, it can still look pretty darn cool (with the help of the optional neck extension and some opened missile panels to make the figure look more skinny.
I'll focus my ammo on the YF-29, 171, and hopefully a upcoming reissue of VF-25F Alto...well, also the movie/game Blu-rays and the DYRL re-master box set that just came out. A lot of wallet hurt for Macross fans lately.

Thanks for sharing OzmaLee, The vf-25s looks simply awesome with armour parts. I have yet to buy it, getting real expensive in the secondary market  |

The Armored VF-25S design is what got me into Macross toys a number of years back, and it looks like we finally have a toy that does it justice. Can't wait to get mine!

A lot of wallet hurt for Macross fans lately. I got into Macross F pretty late in the game as well. Missed out on the VF-27 and the YF 29 fast packs (did get a reissue durandal though). The only other Macross fighters that interest me are the original VF-1's. The others don't exist for me.  .....yet. Good luck on your future purchases and try not to wait too long since looks like prices just keep going up. |

Armored Alto VF-25F looks great, and I find the armor looks darker than appeared in other people's pics, often with a lighter blue gray. The colors look just about right in your pics, so hopefully it will look close enough when seeing it in person. Thanks for sharing.

I try to avoid using the flash if at all possible in order to show you what I see. I could probably snap better pics but I'm too lazy to break out the DSLR and light box. ;D You're right, Alto's armor is lighter than Ozma's but not to the point where it's light grey. It's the flash in those pictures. |
